Name - Frederick Blackman
Rank- Sapper Royal Engineers
Regimental Number - 56172
Went to France on the 11/9/1915 and was killed in action on the 26/6/1916

The CWGC ref has him down as the 9th field company RE not 97th! Are you looking at the correct division?

I do have war diaries for 21st div RE, though they are very poor reading and little content.

the cwgc has frederick blackman down as the 9th field company Re but he was with the 97th field company Re the soldiers died cd rom confirms this i would be pleased if you could give me any thing on the 97th field company re
