the first one is for a friend of mine who is pregnant and it was discovered that the baby has a congential heart condition...
Friends and family,
We need your help. Please read the following and consider our plea. Not only do we need financial blessings, we need people to volunteer to be a part of our prayer team. We are believing for enough people to agree to fast/pray one day for the next 4 months until the baby's miracle happens. Please forward to friends, family, church members, Pastors and whomever else. We need all the assistance we can get. A transplant costs over $350K.
If you would like to contribute either financially or in prayer, please know that we will be forever grateful and that a piece of the heart the baby gets will always be yours.
My name is Baby Basquez. I am the child of Matthew Basquez and Lisa Vallejos. I am due to be born sometime in January 2007. In September, I was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). A baby with HLHS has an underdeveloped left side of the heart that makes the pumping of blood difficult. Without treatment, babies with HLHS will not survive more than 10 days. However, there are some options for treatment and my parents have decided to get a new heart for me with a transplant.
I am going to be born at Presbyterian St.-Luke’s Hospital in Denver and then will be transferred to Denver Children’s Hospital to get ready for my transplant so that I can have a long, healthy and normal life!
My parents’ insurance will cover a lot of the expenses associated with the transplant and my birth but we need to raise money to take care of any unexpected expenses, travel and lodging. To help me and my parents, a fundraising campaign in my honor has been set up with Compass Bank. We are asking for your help in saving my life and helping me to have a long life! If you can help:
Make checks payable to: Baby Basquez Transplant Fund
Send to: Matthew Basquez or Lisa Vallejos

The second is for another friend of mine's really good friend who is in dire need of a kidney transplant, he is recieving dialysis 3 times a week that basically wipes him out.
