As I sit here in solitude,

Wondering what it is I'm supposed to do

Looking at the world for a time or two

Wondering since I'm serving You,

Why do I feel so blue?

What is it that I have done?

To come to this point like this?

No one to talk to, no friends around

To share a laugh or two

Sitting here pondering,

Allowing my thoughts to wander

As I see myself getting into a deeper funk,

I know what I must do is to turn to you…

In this solitude is where I can commune with You.



Your Word is a comfort to my thirsty soul…



I yearn for a refreshing

A peace beyond understanding

I know when I search for you,

I never will feel by myself ever again.
