This is a poem I wrote after having a rough day with my 12 year old son. I decided to post it under the single parents because I know that if your a single parent, especially a single mom, you will understand... be blessed~
~~she's crying... he's crying... "mom why?" "I don't understand" "what did I do?" "why are you mad at me mom?" it's not their fault...
mom and dad all in one...
these little ones, so unaware of the struggle... so unaware of the love... they can't see it... all they see is "mom's picking on me" "I'm always in trouble" when there is no trouble they don't see it.... they don't see how good they are... they don't see how blessed they are... they don't see mom in bed crying at night... beat up by the stress of it all... negative emotions...
mom and dad all in one...
One day I will say it is well... one day... I say "God is my husband"... and Oh he is! One day he will manifest himself in a man! strong and virtuous!... willing and able!... one day he will manifest his love for us in a man! picked and prepared... perfect! I will wait for you...
until then mom and dad all in one...~~
