Story:
Terrorists have a new Super Weapon: The Metal Gear, and they impend to launch a Nuklear missile from it. It's your job to avoid this.

Metal Gear Solid has a good graphic with great effects, just the faces looks bad.

Sound: 5/5

Metal Gear Solid has a great Soundtrack, the main theme still makes my eyes wet. The sound effects are pretty good too.

Gameplay 5/5

The difficult is well balanced: Not too easy and not so hard that you throw your playstation against the next wall. The only thing thats disturbt me is the point that you can't steal the storm rifles from the guards, no,you have to take it out of a crate, even when the corridors are overfilled with loaded and unlocked weapons (the thing with the fingerprints cames with part 2). The rating system is also pretty intresting: Not the player with the most headshots and broken necks win, you just get the points when you're unseen and less kill as possible.

Atmosphere 5/5

Metal Gear Solid has a great atmosphere(for a action game), the fear to get occurred let you stop the breath. The traps, sniper duells and the point that you're sneak the most of the time is just awesome.

Replay Worth 2/5

It's great if you play it the first time,but two endings (which became decided in only one scene), two new items and a cool but useless James Bond Smoking is too less.

-Metal Gear Solid has two Sequels: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3:Snake Eater. Part 4 is announced for the Playstation 3
-Metal Gear Solid isn't the first part: The first part realeased 1987 for the MSX and was just called Metal Gear.

Metal Gear Solid brings a revolution to the whole action gerne: a intelligent, mature and fascinating stealth action game. Bond go Home!
