Martinsville turns the tide for Benson

The truck race at Martinsville is a race fans delight. Hornaday, Harvick and Benson slugged it out for the lead on a chilly Saturday afternoon. Johnny took the lead with 44 laps to go, but Hornaday and Harvick were hot on his heals. Benson had come in and took gas and 4 tires on lap 36, while Hornaday and Harvick getting just fuel. While Hornaday led most of the race but used up too much fuel trying to stay ahead of his owner, Harvick and was overtaken by Benson in the end. With just a few laps remaining they both ran out and Benson cruised to the finish. The final lap saw a huge wreck on the track and fistacuffs in the garage. The truck race swung from a 35 point deficet for Benson to a 65 point lead. The Craftsmen Truck series still continues to be some of the best racing in Nascar and for 30 bucks a ticket, one heck of a bargin.
