I've set up a new Space account after being locked out of my old one. (e-mail conflicts or some such shit)
I'm finally learning how to use the frikkin thing, as I've never had time to mess with it in the past.
Being out of work for some time now, and the simple fact that there are few job opportunities to be had, has forced me to step up my musical endeavors. Played my first solo gig last week which has netted a load of contacts and tentative jobs.
Also sold 20 Cd's at the gig. The past few years have seen me working in a wide variety of other people's projects, usually for little and no pay. I've decided to change that and focus on my own material.
My material is now a neat mixture of loud & heavy, soft and ambient, and straight up pop-like songs.
i can now perform these genres seperately, which offers a wider range of gigs, or simultaneously, if need be.
Regardless, I'm quite happy with the way things are panning out.
I missed out on the current jam due to a flurry of Health issues, and I'm going for a big time surgery on Mon. morning.
Not as serious as It sounds, but I will be laid up for a a few weeks to recover, then its back on the rockin horse.
