Well here it is April 12, 2008. The AAFL league would have started today. Well of course that is not to be since the league was unable to get money to get through the season. Instead you look on the NFL network and see to be announced. Not to mention the fact that if you were really football starved you had the option of watching the same team play the Florida Gators in there spring game. Well one has to wonder will the AAFL see the light of day next year. Still no word on a new partner to help finance the league. The league website has revamped itself completely since the league decided not to go this season
Well if there is still a league next season im still a fan. Let's face the facts there is nothing really on. Baseball season has just started. Not many people interested in the hockey playoff, look at the ratings. The NBA is just about to begin it playoff season next week, but a lot fans have been turned off since Mr. Jordon left and that brawl they had in Detroit.
Clearly there is interest in spring football look at all the fans who turn out for that Florida spring football game. The AAFL has alot work to do to win back people who were fans but it would not hurt to drop those ticket prices to the point were you can get 10,000 season ticket sales.
