It's difficult to tell when there has been a new post in a topic. It would be nice to be able to distinguish which forums have a new post from the last time you visited with some kind of indicator (like a change in color or something).

Also, it seems that we can edit posts but not delete them. I would suggest adding a function allowing us to delete our own posts.

Good points. I will get with gatek99 and we will try and get those done. He had already stated that the circles beside the post titles should be either green or red, indicating when there is a new post. As for now I'm having to just look at the last post dates to see if someone posted.

Keep up the comments, we want this board to be representative of its members.

This forum is as dead as the aaflsource site is as dead as the official site is as dead as the official team forums. I'm starting to have a strong feeling AAFL isn't gonna happen, or, if it does, it's gonna be a total failure. I see no interest anywhere, no marketing, no promotion, too few fans. And the official site is a strong candidate (actually, a sure winner) for "worst site of a professional league award".

All-American Football League expected to fold
Posted: Thursday, March 6th, 2008 at 12:36 am

By MICHAEL DIROCCO
The Times-Union

GAINESVILLE — The All-American Football League is expected to announce Thursday that it will not play its inaugural season, according to a source familiar with the situation.

The source, who requested anonymity because the person didn’t have authorization to make the announcement, said late Wednesday night that financial issues have saddled some of the teams in the six-team league. The league, which targeted players who are college graduates, was supposed to begin play April 19 with teams in Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas and Michigan.

Further details weren’t available, and the league’s offices were closed. An e-mail to the league’s media relations director wasn’t returned.

The league held its inaugural draft in January, and Team Florida was scheduled to open training camp Wednesday.

There may be some hope yet. Check out our front page. Katz says a TV deal is basically done and a new majority partner is in negotiations.
