Criteria for Becoming a Moderator

Postby Someone on Mon Mar 24, 2008 2:35 pm

Hello, again.

Moderators have the good life. They can ban people, delete posts and topics, lock topics, and are one of the few justified in warning people about breakingthe rules. So, how do you go about becoming a moderator?

1. You must have at least 100 posts.

2. You can never have been banned.

3. You must be a "model user". That means a good example to new users by sporting good spelling, grammar, and an abilityto be nice to even the worst of n00bs.

4. When you submit your request to become a moderator, 30 different users must vote "yes" to you. Your request will be posted atop all pf the topic boars as an announcement, and will ask people to vote for you. When you get 30 yes votes, your request will be accepted.

Moderators will remain moderators for a few months.

Thank you.
