*Moritz* never really worked as a name for my mom's new kitten so when I was over there the other day, I suggested *Buddy* (which is what I call Squeakers most of the time and my mom's little kitty is ornery like Squeaks). It went over well with the folks so now I would like you all to meet *Buddy* ~
 
Turns out he was so badly infested with worms (what shelter cat isn't?) that the little buggers were eating all the food in his tummy and he wasn't growing. Turns out he's not the 10 weeks that we all thought he was ~ vet said based on his teeth, he's already 4 months old!! He's in a good home and my mom (and dad, though he won't admit it) are gonna spoil him rotten. His fave toy is that little red wiener dog. Likes to beat the crap out of it!!

WOW! Annette, that first picture of Buddy looks almost EXACTLY like my Jake when he was, as I called him when he was a kitten, "a tiny little ball of fluff"! Buddy is SO CUTE! I LOVE kitties!

I call my Rocky Buddy all the time.
Usually when he *talkin'* up a storm,
I say "What's up Bud?" In general,
it's usually "Hey Buddy". DH says I'll
'confuse' him. He's almost 10yrs old, IDTS...
It's not like he will come when any name is called,
unless he feels like it, of course.
Shame they can't bottle a safe form of those *worms*
for us...we could eat anything&everything we wanted 
Buddy is a very lucky little kitty.....

Buddy is so Prettyfull...he looks jes like My Late LarryMoeCheese(bet his nads aren't as big tho  )
Seems to me that both yer mom & Buddy are the Lucky Ones!
Damn worms...Kwa-Wa has a few...Seen them comin' out his...Well, ya know!!

Both the DH and I do the same with Squeakers ~ "What's up Bud?" when he carries on and he carries on a lot! Squeakers definitely knows his name and he learned it in the first day or so we had him. It's just that he thinks his whole name is "Squeakers, KNOCK IT OFF!" He was into EVERYTHING when we first got him and either Jasmine went along with him or he attacked her. He's still kinda like that.
Will send your nice thoughts along to mom and Buddy. Gotta hard copy mom the pics since the folks don't do the 'puter thing.

Everytime I name a pet, the DH gives him a nickname...So I call them one thing, the DH calls them somethin' else...My animals need therapy

JimmyJack=Peanut or b!tch

LarryMoeCheese=Snarfadoodle..RIP

Rocky Leopold (yes my pets have middle names!) Is Rockford, Rockford Von Rocky Das Leopold, Rock N Roll, baby boy or just Rock
Princess Daisy Mae is Daisy, Carzy Daisy, Monster dog, Baby girl, Devil Dog, Barky Bark and the funky bunch * she Barks and Rocky never does) or some times Trouble. Every time I hear the Travis Trit song T RO U B L E I think of her.
