Oh, my! It is interesting how things are in this story. It has been a roller coaster ride. I honestly can't pick sides. I knew when Felicia was going over to Lorna and Joe's apartment, Lorna was trying to reconcile Felicia and Lucas.

Felicia confronts Lucas about that, because she thinks he put Lorna up to it at first, in the next part. It's not finished yet, but here's a quick preview:

"So help me, Luke, if you're using Lorna to try and get to me just because she's the only one you left behind who DIDN'T express the sentiment that you can go to hell..."

"I would never do that, Fanny! You know me better than that!"

"I thought so too. But I was wrong."

I'm getting a visual of *Intervention Felicia* when she confronts Luke.  Anyone remember (and it's on YT cuz I watched it AGAIN over the weekend) when Felicia told Rachel to go to hell in the intervention?

"Go to hell, Rachel.  GO TO HELL."

That whole intervention sequence still gives me the chills.  Great performances out of each and every one of them.

I can't remember which part it's in but if anyone needs a refresher, here are all 4 parts (thanks to Suzanne) ~

Oh, yeah, Felicia's gonna be really p!ssed at Luke. And you're right, Michelle, that's what Lorna meant when she and Joe and Lucas were leaving TOPS and she mouthed "Go with it" to Joe; she had already asked Felicia to water the plants and pick up the mail for her and Joe while they were on their honeymoon, and she conveniently forgot to mention that to Lucas when she insisted he stay at their place while they were on their honeymoon, because she knew then her parents would HAVE to see each other at some point. Felicia's not going to be happy with Lorna when Lorna 'fesses up to having set them up, either. Lorna is one of Luke's two biggest supporters in his campaign to win back the trust of his family, especially Felicia. And Paulina plays a big role in supporting Felicia because she can understand, in a way that Rachel can't and in a way that isn't as painful as it is for Cass and Frankie because of what they went through with Kathleen, how it feels to think you've buried the love of your life and then he comes back. At the end of part 4, look for Felicia to meet up with Paulina unintentionally, and the beginning of their friendship to form.

Since Lorna is one of Luke's supporters, will she and Jenna will be at odds with each other again. I want them to be fine and not at odds with each other again?

Lorna and Jenna won't really be at odds in the traditional sense. Jenna and Dean are both mad at Lucas, and Lucas doesn't want Jenna and Lorna's relationship, or Felicia and Lorna's relationship either for that matter, suffering because they're still mad at him and Lorna isn't. In the end, it's a conversation with Lorna that makes Jenna realize that Lucas did not abandon her the way her biological mother Gloria Norris did, and once she comes to this realization, she's ready to forgive Lucas, and so is Dean, but when Jenna tells Dean not to forgive Lucas just for her sake or even for their son's sake, Dean says, "I'm not. I'm forgiving Lucas because he did the one thing my old man never did: he came back...and he fought to earn your trust back even when you kept pushing him away."

Since Jenna and Dean are the last ones to come around, though, they aren't involved in the little caper that Lorna cooks up--and drags Joe, Iris, Cass and Frankie, and Paulina--into to force Felicia and Lucas to talk and have it all out once and for all, but I'm looking forward to writing that part anyway, because Jenna, Dean, and little Lucas arrive at the caper's end.

Lorna has a single-minded determination to reunite her family, so she's not going to be very patient with Mom because Felicia is fighting it. And just because I would love to see it, and I hope I can do it justice, Lorna is going to pounce on Iris when she sees Iris and Lucas together; she'll get Iris alone and get up in her face about, "I don't know what kind of fantasies you're entertaining, Iris, but my father is off limits romantically. He and my mother are GOING to get back together eventually, so unless you want the humiliation of being dumped for Felicia a second time, you'll back off and you'll back off NOW."

"So like your mother," Iris says. "And so willing to believe the worst of me. Relax, Lorna. I have no romantic designs on Lucas. But your father DOES need a friend, and that's what I am. That's ALL I am."

"Wait...so you're actually trying to HELP him get back with Mom?"

"I don't know if I'd go THAT far, but he needs someone to listen--besides you--and that's why I'm spending time with him."

Of course, it's a REAL kick when Iris and Paulina realize they're on the same side, since Paulina figures out pretty quickly that Felicia does want Lucas back but she's afraid to trust him, afraid she might fall apart completely again if anything happens to him. Paulina is even more suspicious of Iris than Lorna, and the sisters are surprised to realize they're working towards a common goal, and for the good of others.

Wow...the uniting snowballs.  I can't say *reuniting* since Paulina and Iris were never united, or were they?

I like it when people especially family work together to help someone else. I noticed that Sarah Wheeler called Matt "Uncle Matt". I am just curious why she does that.

I know it'll be awhile for J&P FF, but how does Iris react to Paulina and Jake's son being named after her beloved father, Mac, given their history?

The combined Cory family are all aunts and uncles to Sarah--therefore, she has an Uncle Matt, Uncle Jamie and Aunt Marley, Uncle Ryan and Aunt Vicky, Uncle Jake and Aunt Paulina.

Paulina learns the baby's sex while she's pregnant and announces her intention to give the baby "Mackenzie" for a middle name after Mac, and she will choose a first name when she knows whether his father is Jake or Joe. Iris knocks everyone for a loop when she says, upon learning of Paulina's name choice--and the fact that she and Jake decide to call the boy Mack instead of Thomas, Tommy or Tom--that Mac would have been very honored to have a namesake grandson. She's going to be surprising a lot of people with her behavior; being so involved with Dennis and Sarah really mellows her out. Of course she can (and does) still get snippy with Donna, and occasionally Rachel or Paulina or Felicia, but she has no serious objections to Paulina and Jake calling their son Mack, and it's like Iris says, "Even if I did, you'd go right ahead and name him after Daddy anyway."

In "Reclaiming Forever," Paulina and Iris do not know initially that each of them is serving as a sounding board/confidante for Felicia and Lucas, respectively, and when Paulina notices Iris spending a lot of time with Lucas, she, like Lorna, starts to let Iris have it, which is when Iris tells Paulina that she's only helping Lucas as a friend because that ship sailed long ago, and then Iris learns the extent to which Paulina is involved with helping Felicia cope and stay sober (which is a great extent), and when they realize they're on the same side, it surprises them both, especially when Lorna approaches them both to help her with her caper. I'm hoping to work on the story more this week.

You have said that Lorna becomes pregnant and will give birth at the end of this fan fiction. I know that none of the Aw doctors are OB/GYN. I am guessing that it will be some random doctor who delivers Lorna and Joe's baby.

You guess correctly...although there will be at least one baby born that is a character entirely of my creation (although that character is mentioned in this fic, but his birth will be written in another story) and this particular baby will be delivered by an AW character who is a doctor but is not Jamie or John.

This story has piquied my interest Amy.  Do you happen to have a timetable for the next installment?  Both of these stories(yours and Nettie's) have my interest and I am so looking forward to reading them.  I remember when you would post fanfics at SoapNet(grrr freakin idiots that dropped AW), and I loved reading them there.  Have you thought about writing for a soap??
