~~~Just finished devouring this dvd! What a treat!!
Here's the trailer:
What Love Is is a delight.
While we were viewing it, I kept saying to the DH...
"this feels like we're in a theatre watching a play"
The cast was able to handle the intricate, snappy banter
without missing a beat.
I thought it was going to be a 'chickflick', and I would
lose him before the 2nd act...but...there is plenty to keep
a man's *intereset* here.
Hey Nettie...soooo happy I joined Netflix
If you decide to give it a try, be sure to watch the
"special features". The cast interviews are great.
Mars Callahan {writer/director/player} gives *our* girl
kudos for helping get the film made. He said she
"set the pace" for the other women.
I especially enjoyed a 2nd viewing while listening to the
commentary by MC & two of the producers.
They explain in depth how the film was shot digitally
with several cameras. Anne mentions in one of her
interviews how it was much like "her old soap days".
I highly recommend What Love Is for your
next at home movie night, with or without a male movie fan
next to you!
To quote Anne at the end of the first vid ~ Oh My Gawd!!!
I never heard of this film ~ it's goin' to the top of the NF cue. Love Cuba (and our AH, of course) and I know the DH is gonna sit right next to me (at first, anyway ) once he sees Gina!
Thanks KT fer the fun little *find*!
