I titled this post "It's Only for One Episode!" because I didn't want Wendy, whenever you surface again and/or hear about this, gurl (miss ya!), to start throwing rotten cybertomatoes at me.
I know nobody likes her. Heck, just by association, and the way Wendy and my friend Sue have talked about her, I don't like her either. I had to talk Sue down after I told her, "I have some news about CSI, but it's not as bad you might think," because her immediate response was "OMG! OMG NO!!! Don't tell me that she's coming back!"
Well, she is, BUT it's only for one episode, so remember that. It's only for one episode!
And now that I've beaten around the bush enough, I'll just flat-out say it:
TVGuide.com has reported that Jorja Fox will be reprising her role as Sara Sidle on CSI in the season opener this fall. Sara returns to Las Vegas to help Grissom and the team mourn Warrick and track down his killer.
But she's ONLY in the season opener! That's it! According to TV Guide, it's just the one episode!

If anyone finds out when CBS or one of the cable networks is going to re-air the epi where Warrick was killed, PLEASE let me know cuz I missed it the first time around.

I can do that for you, Nettie. I don't think things have changed *that* much since I was a kid, so since it was the season finale, CBS should re-air it the week before the season premiere, which will probably be sometime in early September. I'll keep an eye out and post a reminder here when we get there.

Never watched the show but you should be able to go to cbs.com and view the episode there. |

This is basically how the conversation went:
ME: "I, uh, found a news item on CSI, for the new season."
SUE: "Tell me!"
ME: "So you don't already know?"
SUE: "No, I don't! Tell me! Did Warrick miraculously survive?"
ME: "No. No, he's really and truly dead. It's something else."
SUE: "You're beating around the bush."
ME: "Yeah, I am, because you're not gonna like it."

ME: "Sue."
SUE: "No. No F*****G WAY! Don't say that gap-toothed b!tch is coming back! Don't tell me those insane GSR people are going to get their human set of luggage back to be puke-inducing with Grissom!"

SUE: "Aw, S###! I have to watch ugly-a$$ed Sui-Sidle Sara consoling Grissom over Warrick's murder? WHY?!?!?! Catherine's there! They could bring Lady Heather back! They could get a hooker off the STREET, it's Vegas' for gawd's sakes! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SARA?!"
ME: "I don't know." (pause) "You know, you sound like I did over THAT WOMAN on AW last year."
SUE: "I feel about Sara the way you feel about THAT WOMAN. You wanted her the hell away from Cass and Frankie, I want Sara the hell away from Grissom! Stupid Miniature Killer...The one murder she should've gotten RIGHT and she didn't!"
ME: "Speaking as someone who wanted you-know-who to die in the elevator at TOPS at Carl's hands, I understand completely. I'm sorry you have to put up with her."
SUE: "It's just the one episode?"
ME: "Just the one episode. That's it."
SUE: "Well, at least she's not back for the whole season! Now THAT would be horrible!"

So do you agree with her about Sara being an "ugly-@$$ed, gap-toothed b!tch" and you'd rather see Lady Heather, Catherine, or a hooker off the street consoling Grissom over Warrick's death? I told her you probably would understand how she felt.
