I just went to the hulu.com site and it said that website is only available in the USA. I knew this news was too good to be true. It let me give my e-mail so they could let me know if and when it comes to Canada. I know there are at least a couple other Canadians on this board. It's not fair and I'm so disappointed. Well I still am very thankful for AOL and Youtube who have no international boarders.

I saw the same thing and thought it was unfair, especially considering how hugely popular AW was in Canada. Hulu does allow their shows to be shared via e-mail or embedded on other other websites so if we can get the episodes embedded here(not sure how that works) maybe everyone can enjoy them no matter where they live.
Here is the formal announcement from the Procter & Gamble Classic Soaps blog (http://www.pgpclassicsoaps.com):
I would suggest adding thanks to P & G in the comment section for this posting. Unfortunately, Hulu.com is not available in Canada. You can add your e-mail with them asking to be notified when it is available outside the US.

ANOTHER CHANCE FOR ANOTHER WORLD!
TeleNext Media, Inc. today announced that its two long-running soap operas Guiding Light and As The World Turns, plus the classic soap opera Another World, will be the first of the genre to make full episodes available for viewing on Hulu.com.
Initially, viewers will be able to enjoy 18 full episodes of each show, with an additional three episodes going up on the site per week.
Guiding Light will debut on July 25, 2008, As The World Turns on July 28, and Another World on July 29.
"Our shows have always been media pioneers," said Brian T. Cahill, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of TeleNext Media Inc., "We were the first to transition from radio to television and the first to podcast. We are proud to be first here as well, and happy to do it with such a great strategic partner as Hulu."
Both Guiding Light and As The World Turns will debut on Hulu with episodes that originally aired on television on June 1, 2007.
Since Another World's removal from the SoapNet schedule, fans have been clamoring to see the remainder of the show's run. As per their wishes, Another World will debut on Hulu with the episode that originally aired on NBC on May 10, 1991 -- the last episode broadcast by SoapNet -- and continue from there!
Older episodes of Another World, as well as classics Search for Tomorrow, The Edge of Night and Texas are currently available on the AOL/PGP Classic Soaps Channel.

Now it's time we clamor for them to make the shows

Indeed...thank you P&G and hulu
From dictionary.com:
clam·or (klām'ər)
n.
A loud outcry; a hubbub.
A vehement expression of discontent or protest:
a clamor in the press for pollution control.
A loud sustained noise.
The only down side to this WONDERFUL news is that our Canadian fans can't watch via *hulu*. Let's hope that clears up soon as they were some of AW's biggest fans.
Right now I am trying to figure out how I will budget my day between work (you know, actually doing some! LOL!), 1981 AW, 1991 AW, YT and the new season of our fav shows!! Oh, wait, don't I have a husband too?

As soon as Nettie sent me the e-mail with the initial announcement in it and I saw that they are picking up *EXACTLY* where SN left off, I knew that they heard us last year when we were bombarding them with postcards.
My opinion of P&G has gone through the roof these last few days, let me tell you!

~~~Here's BTC's address.
As soon as I watch the May 13, 1991 episode
of Another World, I am planning to
send a handwritten thank you note to Mr. Cahill.
I do believe he is largely responsible for bringing
this deal to fruition. I think his goal was initially
for GL & ATWT...no matter...as long as *our*
vintage classic was added to the package.
