Hi, all! My name is Jada & I'm from Yankton, SD. I've been an AW fan for a long time & particularly enjoyed the storylines involving Wallingford. (If anyone has any VHS tapes or DVD's from that era, I'm interested.) I chose the screen name "pinkblink" because I adore the color pink & am a fan of the show "I Dream of Jeannie." Also, I do a lot of local theatre & would still love to be a professional actress even tho I'm getting close to my forties. In a way, I feel like I was born too late as I would've dearly loved to just be an extra during AW's heyday.
Well, that's enough about boring ol' me for the moment. I look forward to hearing from anyone who'd like to respond.

...pinkblink!

As a fellow Wallingford, fan I would like to welcome you to the board!!  Though I watched AW on and off as a kid and while growing up, I didn't really get *into* it until about 1987 so didn't have the pleasure of watching Wally from the start.  I have since acquired some DVD's from Eddie through his website http://www.igs.net/~awhp/awhp.html, many of them featuring Wallingford.  There is a thread on this board devoted to Eddie under *The Heart of Bay City* ~ it's the fourth thread down entitled *AWHP*.  Eddie is considered "The Godfather" of our show since and his website is fantastic ~ please visit if you have not already done so.

It's never too late to give up on your dream to be a professional actress ~ no matter what your age!!  I did a bit of local theater myself when I was younger and took quite a few classes.  I must confess, I was much better *behind the scenes* but it was fun anyway!  And yeah, I think it would have been a hoot to be an extra on AW.  I would have loved to sit at TOPS every day and soak it all in ~ and maybe I would have gotten to eat the *food* as a bonus!!!  LOL!

Hope you make this board a regular stop ~ as you can tell, we all LOVE Another World and can talk about it to no end.  Are you watching the 1981 episodes on AOL and the 1991 epi's at hulu.com?  We like to watch and discuss.

Okay ~ I am off to your other post regarding Brent Collins to tell you what I know....Again, Welcome!!!

Hi, Annette. Nice to meet you. Thank you for the kind words & for posting that fabulous Jeannie bottle pic. Love it!
I've seen some of the eppys at hulu, but sincerely hope it won't be long before they add all of the Wallingford ones. I haven't seen them since they originally aired. (Sad, I know.) I briefly considered going with a premium cable package so I could watch AW on SoapNet. Unfortunately, they had stopped airing it by then. Drat!
All I have on DVD of Brent Collins is his eppy in Season 1 of "The Golden Girls." That's another of my fave shows & probably my fave eppy just because he's in it.
Well, that's all I know at this posting. Bye for now.

Hi, KT. Nice to meet you.
I love the scenes in "A Little Romance" where Brent & Betty hold hands. Also, the one in her dream where they hug. (sigh)

Hi Jada:
Welcome to our "Another World" family, and
please excuse my delay (I've been recovering
from a computer crash).
I've enjoyed reading many of your posts on
some of the other pages, and you fit right in
with the rest of us.  Never give up on your
dreams of acting, and thanks for sharing it
with us.
Hugs,
