I would only go in after I made inquiry in a very frightful voice "Is anyone in there?" (my fav line in spooky movies ~ one of these times I want a voice to come back at her that sez "Just me ~ the Killer"*)
*Can be replaced with "Stalker" "Rapist" "Lunatic"...
