I just have to say that I'm really, really enjoying Richard Bekins' portrayal of Jamie, and I do still really like RT as Jamie, but Richard Bekins is now officially my favorite Jamie of all time.
Spoiler:
Between his scenes of forgiveness and acceptance with Mac in 4384, his testimony at Amanda's custody hearing, the way he has cut Cecile out of his life and moved on, and how he helped Sandy despite the tension remaining between them because of Cecile with the camera and the pictures, he's AWESOME! I can't wait to see how he reacts to *Mr. Black*'s true identity.
I did make the Dr. Rick video, and it's okay, but I'm actually happier with the way my video about RB's Jamie turned out:
Jamie Frame, Autumn 1981: "Shattered (Turn the Car Around)"
I also agree that Richard Bekins is the best Jamie. Glad I am now getting the chance to see him. I was never a fan of Russell Todd. When I see the name Jamie Frame I will always picture RB in my mind.

You know what I love the most about the early '80's?
I was thinking about this when watching RB scenes.
True depth of character in all the actors.
When I switch back and forth between the 80's and 90's it is amazing to see the difference.
RB made Jamie a man you could feel for. You saw into his soul. All the storylines had emotional and distinct growth of character involved in every message.
Fast Forward to the early 90's and we see the show becoming more like a primetime special. Jamie, at that time, was "just the doctor". Of course, I can hardly stand to look at the fella playing him now. He is sooooo unattractive to me.
I suspect that what I am seeing is what I keep reading. The comments about the show being so well done writing wise.
And of course, I won't stop watching on Hulu. This all picked up shortly after I quit watching way back when so it is all new to me!
I love both the 81 and the 91 epi's ~ The 81 cuz that's all new stuff to me (I was out of the country in it's first run, plus I prolly wouldn't have been able to watch anyway without a VCR) and the 91 cuz 1986-1993 or thereabouts was my fave time period.

Amen, sister!!
And I meant to comment on your last post about not being able to get to the board due to yer lappy not working right and having to use the main p.c. I hear ya there too. When the DH is off to work in the a.m., I jump on the main 'puter (and at lunch as well) but in the evening when I watch AOL or HULU or check the board, I wouldn't be able to do so without the lappy. Gives me more *privacy.* The only things that's kind of a bummer 'bout that is that our vid-making software is on the main 'puter so I don't get as many vids uploaded to YT (like the Wally vids) as I would like (takes up too much memory on the lappy).
Maybe it's time for you to ask Santa for a new laptop?
