The DH & I are scratchin' our heads over this one ~
When he left the house today around 12:30 p.m., he found on our porch, propped under our newspaper, a plastic bag filled with a LARGE bottle of tequila, 6 plastic margarita glasses and margarita salt. No note, nothing that indicates who, what, why, how.
The tequila is "El Gran Matador Gold" and had a price sticker on it. Liquor bought in our state does not come with price tags nor can we find this brand of tequila on-line; however, the label does indicate a bottling plant in Hartford, Conn.
We've asked all our family and friends that might have any idea. Nobody knows anything about it. Short of the margarita *mix*, it's all the fixin's for a party fer six!!!
We pretty much figure that someone dropped it off at the wrong address.

drink anything an unknown
person left on my porch, and
I'm sure you and your husband
wouldn't, either.

I would definitely say the people dropped it off at the wrong house.
Either that, or they needed to get rid of it really fast for whatever reason (police pursuit, illegally obtaining the liquor) and your porch was the first suitable place they found to drop it off.

OMG, one of my BFF's just called me and said "Hey, did you find some tequila and glasses on yer porch a couple weeks ago?" I'm like, YES, and we just about gave up tryin' to figure out where it came from (the DH thought a friend who recently passed away left it to us in his will!)
Seems my BFF and her DH were cleanin' out their liquor cabinet, thought of ME (oh, really?) fer the tequila, drove over to my house, knocked real quietly on the door and when we didn't answer (we were home), she left it with the intention of calling us and letting us know it was her. Then she went out of town, yadda, yadda, yadda, and forgot until jes now!
Now dat I know it was from her and not a stranger ~ Nettie's headin' right to the kitchen and is gonna mix up a big ol' batch o' margaritas? Anyone wanna join me ~ she gave me 6 glasses too!!
