I started watching around the time
of the Egyptian Treasure storyline.
(Breathtaking location shots, great
acting, but not the best STORY in
the history of ANOTHER WORLD.)

This was in 1985. The treasure had been
stolen years before from a tomb in Egypt,
and brought to Arizona, which is where the
location scenes took place.
BTW, anyone remember the Dust Disease
story that followed?

Was Carl Hutchins involved it that? I seem to recall seeing pics of Carl in the desert. On horse? Also, maybe EW's Marley.
1985? Kewl beans. Means I only have to wait 4-5 years to watch via AOL.

Carl was very much involved, as were
Marley and Jake.
Ellen Wheeler was just about the only
one who didn't get a little bit sick from
the climate, since she grew up in nearby
Utah.

Teeheehee...and here I was thinking the "location shoot" was Egypt. Didn't they film it in Arizona? I don't blame the actors for not adjusting to the climate. Don't care for really hot weather myself (day after day anyway). Burns my little webbed feet.
