~~~BEL AIRE calling...
Spoiler:
Over at the safari PH:
~I don't remember the side of *Quinn* we
see in this episode.  She seemed a bit cold~hearted
in her curt response about *Clarice*.
OTOH, I was jes loving her face while *Steven* was shoving
*Blaine* down her throat.  Right from square one
*B* takes a shot at a power play pitting herself directly
between *Q* and the boss.  I wanted to wipe that smug
look off *B*'s face, how about you?
*AG*, you gotta know I'm rootin' for *Q* in this one!  Wink
Hey *Denver*
~What part of "Buy it"  "Buy it"  "Buy it" did you not understand!
Meanwhile, over at *BCGH*...
~I thought Tony Cummings really *sounded* like his
dad {Robert} in his scene with *Dr.Wagner*, even down
to the endearing little stammer.  I wish TC had been with
the show longer than he was.
Now for the *BCPD*...
~I would think especially since the 'perp' is
one of their own, the boys in blue would have made
sure his rights were upheld.  Why it took *Jerry*
until 38 minutes into the epi to lawyer up is
beyond me.  He's lucky *Brian* is fair-minded, and
a true friend.  They did have a pseudo father-son
thing going on for a while.
*NG*~Is it legal to withdraw blood without a warrant??
A word about Constance Ford...
~I was very happy to see *Ada* at the *Ewing* apt.
I wanted to see a loving scene with *A*&*C*...maybe
it will come later.  Nobody does the "motherly" thing
better than Connie!
The scene at the table with *Larry* reminded me of
a few from those old shows Connie did back in the
b&w tv days.  Here are a few from the imdb:
Quote:
"The Twilight Zone" .... Barbara Polk (1 episode, 1963)
- Uncle Simon (1963) TV episode .... Barbara Polk
"Perry Mason" .... Frances Walden / ... (3 episodes, 1958-1963)
   - The Case of the Shifty Shoebox (1963) TV episode .... Sylvia Thompson
   - The Case of the Potted Planter (1963) TV episode .... Frances Walden
   - The Case of the Deadly Double (1958) TV episode .... Helen Reed/Joyce Martel
I was able to watch them a few months ago at hulu
Here's to you Connie...you'll always be our  #1 Another World mother. Cool
I've seen both 4407 and 4408. 4407 was intense and all over the map emotionally, and I think Rick handled the situation well. As for 4408...
Spoiler:
I'm on Quinn's side too! I felt for her. Basically, Steve Frame was taking something that had been part of Quinn's job description for years and handing it over to someone whose last steady employment involved running hookers through Bay City! I'd be p!ssed off too if I were Quinn!
Considering how omnipotent they're making Steve this time around, I have to wonder about the house. The good news is, Blaine's finally getting rid of the place. But Steve's all gung-ho about the house for him and 16-year-old Diana (she's not legal; that's gonna cause all KINDS of trouble, I bet), and he thinks it's such a great house. All I could think was, "Well, yeah, if you don't mind the fact that Jordan Scott the slimeball was murdered in the living room!"
And the lackey takes a stand! Eldon made a lot of sense with his speech about, "A lot of people have made a lot of decisions based on the fact that Steve Frame died in a helicopter crash years ago. You can't just pop up now and say, 'SURPRISE!' and expect them all to fall in line with what you want." That's the first and only time I've liked him.
I hope we won't have to put up with Creepy Jerry much longer. I knew Larry would want to kill him for this.
Sounds like Rick is having doubts about making psychiatry his specialty. Totally understandable. He did handle things with Clarice well, though.
I think a lot of stuff is going to hit the fan at this party Steve is having Blaine plan. Better make sure none of her old clientele are on the guest list, Steve-a-rino. I don't think that's the reputation you want to cultivate here!
Quinn, to me, seemed jealous of Blair and afraid that Blair will invade part of her territory at Blackhawk.  Steve seemed to have a crush on Blair the way he was giving her so much responsibility.  This Steve Frame seems very selfish and heartless.  A good father would not have stayed out of Jamie's life as long as he did.  He didn't seem to be in a rush to meet Jamie.  Jamie is very upset right now and Steve doesn't seem to care.  He is more interested in his new work project.  I don't like him and think he's a jerk.
As far as Blaine's house, I know Cecile eventually lives there.  I'm curious to see if Steve actually buys it and if so how long will he stay there.  Will his redecorating make the house look very different?
It will be interesting to see this Diana when she comes to BC.  I can't think of any teen boys on the show she could get involved with.  Maybe they will get a new teenage guy to be her love interest.  I guess Diana will be at the party and it will be interesting to see what happens.
