I was a big fan of ER back when it premiered fifteen years ago but haven't watched it since nurse Carol Hathaway(a.k.a. Juliana Marguilies) joined Dr. Doug Ross(a.k.a. George Clooney) in Seattle to "live happily ever after." Now comes word, and how I'm hoping it's true, that my favorite prime time couple will make a return visit to the show as part of its final season. You can't buy chemistry like theirs....makes me wonder why they've never made a film together. Anyway, if it turns out to be true I'll definitely be tuning in to ER again. How weird is it that next season NBC is going to be running Jay Leno in the 10pm slot every night? Think about it, ER will probably be the last show of its kind to enjoy that long of a run. The TV landscape is changing all the time and not necessarily for the better. |

Fifteen years? ER has really been on the air that long? Give or take a few epi's, I've been watching it the whole time. It's been rather predictable the last few years but I still tune in.
I agree the Hathaway/Ross Seattle reunion was a great ER moment. Another moment I will never forget, for obvious different reasons, was when the helicopter dropped out of the sky onto Dr. Romano. Oopsies!
