Felicia: Â "Men...they really are the alien race."
No kiddin' Fanny. Â This epi was full of our favorite guys bein' big fat old jerks. Â And poor Felicia had to deal with two of them. Â First, Cass gets ticked at her cuz she doesn't have time to hold his hand (yet again) cuz he was a total jack@ss with Frankie and she's not ready to forgive him. Â Then, hubby Lucas gets all huffy cuz she's BFFs with Cass ~ even though she got rid of Winthrop so they could go out on a BSD (BigSpecialDate). Â
Then there was Spencer who was snarky with Grant and Donna. Â Loved it when Ms. Love told Spence to "Shove it."
And Young Dean who is pissy cuz Jenna isn't ready to ride off into the sunset with him after one evening together. Â And let's not even talk about "give me another chance" Matt.
Not ALL the guys were jerks though ~ How HOT was Jake all layin' in the bed then throwing the loincloth (okay, it was jes a towel) at Paulina. Â Anyone else cranin' to try to see the crown jewels? Â When Paulina said to Jake "Cuz I'm taken. Â Marley's taken. Â So why don't you do us all a favor and find another woman!" Â I jes wanted to jump up and down screamin' "Pick Wendy! Â Pick Wendy!" Â And what about that smoocheroo at TOPS! Â Yummy! Â You know Paulina FELT dat!
Are we gearing up for the return of Taylor? Â Cuz I really don't need to see that dingbat again. Â And what was up with Frankie??? Â I understand she was tired and needed her rest and all dat but honey, GRAB THE ECLAIR AND TAKE IT UPSTAIRS WITH YOU!!! Â Sheesh...leavin' the eclair. Â Who does dat? Â
Speaking of eclairs ~ it was Donna who brought Frankie the delicious treat "without preservatives." Big D was making the rounds and in doing so, reminded me that Donna had no real female BFF's in Bay City. First she showed up at Felicia's asking The Divine Ms. G to help with the catering plans for Marley & Jamie's wedding ~ which must have been some serious deja vu for Felicia since Donna did the same thing when Vicky was marrying Jamie after stealing her away from Lisa. When Felicia refused that time, Donna reminded her that Vicky owned the Love Tower (where TOPS is located). This time Felicia just told Donna to make an appt with her catering peep as she pushed her out of the door. Then Donna shows up at Sharlene's looking for female bonding and Frankie can't get up the stairs fast enuf!! Many of Bay City's ladies had close female friends ~ Felicia/Rachel (when they weren't sharing DH's that is) and Sharlene/Frankie (I think they would have been friends even if they weren't related) and there were plenty of male/female friendships but Donna only seemed to have Michael (on and off) and occasionally Vicky. Oh, yeah, and Carl. And Jake. And Matt.

I have finally caught up and just saw the Oct. 15 episode. Thank you YOUTUBE!!
Actually I had to side with Lucas on this show. Cass is always demanding Felicia's attention when Lucas and Felicia have plans. Cass was acting like the world revolves around him. Yes they are BFF's but Felicia is married to Lucas so that makes him more important in her life. Cass would hate for Felicia to intrude if he had special plans with Frankie. IMO Cass was the biggest jerk in this situation.
Poor Donna, the 2 men she is most interested in(Michael and Spencer) are both more interested in Rachel right now. I sure wouldn't hurt Donna's feelings if she delivered me an eclair. I would eat it then and there since I love chocolate.
My fave part of these 1991 shows is seeing the beginning of the Dean and Jenna romance. I wasn't able to see all the shows back then so I am so excited about it now.
