Hey, everybody!

Here are this week's clips. Thanks to Janie for the 1992 scenes, which are from late November/early December. The 1990 Cass and Frankie scenes are from February 1990, and pick up right where we left off last week with them. Enjoy! Very Happy

Amy

Jenna and Dean--We're Very Lucky That We Have Each Other

Dean eats breakfast while Jenna prepares to go to the TV studio and meet Felicia, although Jenna is fretting because she needs to get at least five pages written on her term paper today, so she hopes that seeing Felicia at the studio won't take all day. Dean insists that Jenna sit down and eat some breakfast, telling her that she looks after Felicia, and Dean looks out after Jenna. Jenna refuses the pumpkin pie that Dean offers to help wash down the cereal. Jenna thinks that Felicia hasn't enjoyed doing her show since Lucas died. Dean agrees that it's a lot of pressure keeping the fans happy. Felicia did seem excited this morning, so maybe it's getting better, although letting go of all the pain has to be hard, after all the years that Felicia loved Lucas. Jenna says she tried to see how she would feel if she lost Dean, and she couldn't think about it for more than 10 seconds. Dean says that's why he wanted them to move in together: he didn't want to waste any more time. Jenna says they're very lucky to have each other. Dean agrees, and they kiss. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Lorna and Kevin--Breakfast and Conversation

Lorna and Kevin stop at a diner for breakfast and discuss their relationship, their feelings for each other, and what happened with Sally Madison (her framing Kevin and nearly killing Lorna, and Kevin saving Lorna's life). Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Felicia, Jenna, Paulina, Jake, Iris, and Rachel Before Felicia's Show About Sally Madison

Jenna arrives at KBAY and is taken aback when Felicia tells her that Felicia is going to do a show about how Luke's murderer was caught and asks Jenna if she'd like to be a guest. Jenna declines because she can barely talk to Dean about the Sally Madison situation and she knows she'd never be able to talk about it on camera. Felicia assures Jenna that she doesn't have to go on and Felicia won't push Jenna, but she can go on if she changes her mind. Meanwhile, Paulina asks Jake if he's going to clear Kevin's name on the show. Jake replies that he convinced Rachel, Billy Cooper, and a lot of other people that Kevin was a killer, and he was wrong and should make up for that now, but if Paulina and/or Rachel don't want Jake on the show, he'll bow out now. Paulina says she's close to feeling that way, but as long as Jake is serious and doesn't make this about hype, she's fine with it. Iris compares Jake to a puffed-up toad, but Rachel tells Iris that Jake is playing right into their hands. Paulina comes over to tell Rachel and Iris that Felicia and Jake are almost ready to go on and adds that Jake and Felicia are both sure the show will be a blockbuster. Rachel agrees that it could be, if Felicia doesn't crack. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass Meets Douglas Carson, 1992

Cass goes to the Carsons' house and is ready to leave after he twice rings the doorbell and receives no answer, but finally Christy pokes her head out the door to see who it is. Cass tells her that he ran into a snag with the will, and Christy offers to take the paperwork and talk it over with Douglas, but then Douglas calls out, asking who it is and tells Christy not to keep their guest waiting outside, so Cass finally gains entrance to the house and meets Douglas. Christy leaves the men alone to go and make some tea for them, and Cass and Douglas discuss Douglas's will--he wants to name Cass as the executor because he doesn't want to burden Christy with the paperwork since the situation will be difficult enough for her when the time comes. Cass has also brought some material on living wills for Douglas to look over, and Douglas is agreeable to that, although he does assure Cass that while he has limited mobility and has slowed down a bit, the Grim Reaper is not looking over his shoulder yet. Cass says that he and Frankie have been wanting to meet Douglas, and that they've been trying to figure out what Douglas would be like, and what they came up with was nothing like this. Christy returns with the tea then, and Douglas says that he's curious and asks Cass what Cass and Frankie expected. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Frankie and Dean--The Work Is Worth Every Second

While Cass is at the Carsons', Frankie drops by Dean and Jenna's for a visit with her cousin. Over hot apple cider, they discuss Thanksgiving at Dean and Jenna's, how Felicia is doing, plans for Cass and Frankie's wedding and Christy's role in those plans, and Dean and Jenna's adjustment to living together. Frankie gives Dean some very good advice about his relationship with Jenna, saying that you do have to talk to each other, but listening is important as well, and that by talking AND listening, Dean and Jenna will be able to figure out what's right for them, including the right time for them to get married. Falling in love is the easy part, Frankie tells Dean; the rest is work. But the work is worth every second. Dean thanks Frankie for her great advice, and the cousins toast to work with their cups of apple cider. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass Gets Permission to Tell Frankie Everything About Douglas, 1992

Cass prepares to leave the Carsons' because he has to get back to the office. He tells Douglas he enjoyed their visit. Douglas says he wants to talk to Cass in more detail about the living will and about Douglas's power of attorney. Cass readily agrees and tells Douglas they can meet at the house if it's more convenient for Douglas. Douglas calls to Christy that Cass is leaving, and she returns to see Cass to the door and say her own goodbyes. Douglas invites Cass and Frankie to have dinner with him and Christy soon and tells Christy to arrange everything. Cass tells Christy he hopes the visit wasn't too awkward for her. Christy assures Cass it wasn't and gives Cass permission to tell Frankie everything about Douglas. Christy says that she's been overprotective of Douglas and has been underestimating Frankie. Cass assures Christy that Frankie will understand about Douglas, tells her that he and Frankie will be in touch, and leaves. After Cass leaves, Douglas asks Christy what, exactly, she told Cass about him. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Felicia's Show About Sally Madison

Felicia and Jake go on the air for the "Breakfast With Felicia" show about Sally Madison, and Jake relates his version of events the night she was captured, which has Iris whispering to Rachel that Jake is rewriting history and the only reason Jake got shot is because he couldn't push Kevin in front of him fast enough, Jenna telling Dean when he arrives that Jake is making it sound like he deserves the Congressional Medal of Honor, and even Paulina rolls her eyes. Rachel just tells Iris that this is vintage Jake, and Felicia is the one she's worried about. She thinks that if she and Iris give Jake enough rope, he'll hang himself and play right into their hands. Still, the only ones truly pleased with the show seem to be Jake and Felicia as the continue talking about Kevin, Sally, and the night Sally was captured. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

After Felicia's Show About Sally Madison

After wrapping the show, Felicia thanks Jake. Jake asks Felicia how they did, and she tells him she won't know until she gets the ratings, but she thinks they did well. Paulina approaches then with the news that the switchboards have been lit up since the first commercial and then hands a stack of pink message slips to Jake--all the calls have been for him. Meanwhile, Jenna tells Rachel that she was afraid this would be a disaster. Rachel replies that in somebody else's hands it would have, but not Felicia's. Jenna and Dean go over to tell Felicia how proud of her they are. Jake and Paulina then come over to talk to Rachel. Rachel tells Jake he was very impressive on the show. Jake tells Rachel she needs to hire him, because he has lots of ideas. Rachel replies that it will be a cold day in hell before she hires him and walks away, then tells Iris that Jake took the bait hook, line, and sinker, which makes both women smile. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Lorna and Kevin Arrive in the Country

Kevin wakes Lorna up when they arrive at their destination, a rustic retreat in the country woods. Lorna is taken aback to learn they have to share a bathroom, but the man who shows them to their room assures her that so far, she and Kevin have the whole floor to themselves. Lorna asks if there's heat, and Kevin tells her yes, in every room, and gestures to the fireplace. The man tells Kevin to stock up on wood because they're due for a freeze tonight. Kevin assures him that he knows where the wood is and thanks him for the warning. Kevin is obviously happy to be there, and asks Lorna what she thinks. Lorna smiles and replies that the joke is over and asks Kevin where the spa is. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass Tells Frankie About Douglas; Douglas Asks Christy Why She's Keeping Her Friends Away From Him

Frankie returns to the law office after visiting Dean and asks Cass, who has returned from the Carsons', if he met Douglas. He tells her that he did, and tells her what Douglas is like: a very likable, distinguished gentleman, older than Christy, warm, charming, lively, a leather-and-tweed intellectual. Frankie asks why she and Cass haven't met Douglas before, and Cass tells Frankie that Douglas has a serious heart problem and it takes a lot of effort to get out of the house, having to use a cane to get around the house. Frankie says she should have known it was something like this, and no wonder Christy is always rushing home. Cass tells Frankie that Douglas is not helpless and tells her about Douglas's dinner invitation. Frankie tells Cass that Christy was always like this, loving to share the good times but having a hard time sharing her problems, even with Frankie.

Meanwhile, Douglas again asks Christy what she told Cass. Christy tells Douglas she didn't tell Cass anything confidential, just that Douglas writes brilliant books and they don't socialize much because of his heart. Douglas tells Christy he's not scolding her, but she worries too much and looks tired. Then he asks her why she's keeping her friends away from him. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass and Frankie Find Out About Felicia's Show About Sally Madison, 1992

Cass and Frankie arrive at TOPS for dinner still talking about Douglas and Christy, but the Carsons quickly leave their minds when they learn from Franco that Felicia is not at the restaurant and hasn't even called in once all day. Paulina and Jake enter then, with Paulina expressing her surprise that Felicia was so together in front of the cameras, and Jake pointing out that Felicia's a pro and that her ratings will probably go through the roof. Cass asks if they're talking about Felicia's show, and Jake says yes, and adds that he was on the show giving an eyewitness account of Sally Madison's capture. Jake leaves, and Paulina explains about the show to a disbelieving Cass and Frankie, who are shocked and confused that Felicia is not only turning her show into a supermarket tabloid but also that she's planning more shows on the murders of Lucas and of Rick Madison. Cass says that Felicia said at Thanksgiving she was tired of being a victim, and Frankie asks what else you could possibly call the airing of this ugly stuff about her husband's murder? Paulina replies that she thinks Felicia is trying to get control of the terrible things that happened to her. Cass and Frankie are still bothered, though, and are not any more encouraged when Paulina tells them that Felicia is still at the studio, trying to line up Sally's shrink for tomorrow's show. Cass thanks Paulina for telling him and Frankie about this, and Cass and Frankie agree to skip dinner for now because it's still early and to meet back at the office after Cass goes to the studio to see Felicia, and after Frankie does the something she says she wants to do. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Paulina and Jake Talk at TOPS

Paulina tells Jake that Cass and Frankie didn't ask about him, they were worried about Felicia. Jake launches into a mini-rant about how there was nothing pretty about the way Lucas died and there's no point in trying to pretty it up when he was shot in cold blood, and that people are eating this stuff up and Felicia's going to have a lot of competition among the rest of the spill-your-guts shows (which, in this current day and age of reality-crazed television, I find both prescient and incredibly sad, that as far back as 1992 this was starting). Jake wants to work with Paulina again, but Paulina puts the brakes on that in a hurry, because there's no way Rachel will hire Jake, and, Paulina says, KBAY is her one chance to do something on her own. Jake doesn't like the way the camera guys look at Paulina. Paulina sarcastically asks if Jake thinks she needs a bodyguard. Jake replies that Rachel wouldn't even hire him to do that. Paulina says that maybe they can still finesse Rachel and Felicia into hiring Jake to do some video producing or segment introductions, but she insists that Jake let her handle it, and he agrees. Grant and Vicky arrive, and Vicky wants to leave right away, but Grant refuses, citing Paulina and Jake as harmless. Indeed, Paulina and Jake congratulate Vicky and Grant on their engagement, and Jake asks when the big day is. Vicky replies that they haven't set the date yet, but are thinking about sometime in January. When Paulina mutters something about "provided you last that long" and Vicky comes down on her for her lack of graciousness, Paulina fires back that there should be better odds this time because there aren't any more Harrison brothers left for Vicky to go through. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Lorna and Kevin in the Country, Part 2

Kevin explains to Lorna the significance of the weather in the region and his own personal history with the inn, which is why he loves it so much and wants her to love it too. Lorna's not thrilled with the clothes Kevin got her and refuses to wear them (Lorna Devon doesn't do plaid flannel, even when it's black), but she does seem to enjoy Kevin splitting logs as her own personal Paul Bunyan. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass and Felicia 1992--I Just Want You to Know That I'm Here for You

Cass goes to KBAY and is surprised to find Felicia smoking a cigarette. Embarrassed at being caught, Felicia says she only smokes occasionally with the crew and they are, in fact, her suppliers, and asks Cass not to tell anybody. Cass tells Felicia about his talk with Paulina about Felicia's show today. Felicia thinks it was one of her best shows and now Rachel will stop moaning about the ratings. Cass says that he thinks Rachel is more worried about Felicia than about the ratings, but Felicia disagrees. Cass then asks Felicia about the future shows on the murders of Lucas and of Rick Madison that Felicia has planned, and she starts to tell Cass about how she tried to get Sally Madison's psychiatrist on the show but he backed out, claiming that he'd be violating professional ethics. When Cass points out that that's true, Felicia again disagrees, saying the psychiatrist doesn't want the world to know that he blew Sally's case, and then she tells Cass that she has booked another psychiatrist who has written a book on psychos and why they snap and she's confident that this psychiatrist can give the audience the lowdown on Sally and people like her. Cass asks Felicia, "Isn't this a little rough on your nerves?" Felicia insists that it's not and she feels good; she's finally dealing with Luke's death, and she's providing a public service by helping people spot nutcases before they come into their lives. She tells Cass that she's through falling apart and she meant what she said at Thanksgiving. Cass thinks maybe Felicia is too good. Felicia gets angry and tells Cass to give her a schedule on the way she's supposed to be emotionally so she doesn't blow it the next time, and that she's tired of everybody trying to monitor her and handle her every minute. All she sees are all these concerned faces. Cass says they all love her. Felicia tells him that she doesn't need them all second-guessing her right now, and that she and only she knows what's right for her and what she can handle. Cass says he stands corrected, then. Felicia tells Cass that it may seem odd to him that she's digging up all of this stuff about Luke's death and Sally's obsession and putting it on her TV show, but in going public with her own personal tragedy, she somehow thinks it makes the tragedy manageable. It's a place to take your grief, almost as if it happened to everybody and not just you, and you don't have to worry about ruining your daughter's day or your best friend's night. Cass is concerned that Felicia is taking on something too enormous, but Felicia says she's trying to make her way through this, and that's what's important, and she needs Cass to understand that. Cass says he wants to understand, but tells Felicia she doesn't have to try or pretend with him, and if he's acting like an insensitive jerk, just tell him. Felicia says that telling Cass he's an insensitive jerk has never been a problem, and they hug. Cass tells Felicia that he just wants her to know that he's there for her and he loves her. Felicia replies that she knows, and that's very important to her, but Cass must let her get back to work. Cass agrees, on the conditions that Felicia will come to dinner when she is invited, will call Cass just to talk, and will stop smoking. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Frankie Meets Douglas Carson, 1992

While Cass is at KBAY talking to Felicia, Frankie goes to Douglas and Christy's house and finally meets Douglas for herself. Christy is out running errands, so Frankie and Douglas have tea and chat, finding that they both enjoy tea and herbs and plants, and they also talk a bit about Frankie and Christy's longtime friendship and how they lost track of each other after Christy moved to New York and met Douglas. Douglas also reiterates his dinner invitation for the weekend to Frankie, and assures her that Christy is always agreeable to what he suggests when Frankie wonders if she should talk to Christy about it first. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass and Frankie Talk After They've Both Met Douglas Carson, 1992

Frankie returns to the law office to meet Cass as they agreed on at TOPS earlier and finds him working on KBAY contracts which, he complains, read like phone books. Cass knowingly asks his beloved how Christy was. When Frankie says she wasn't home, Cass adds, "And Douglas was, hmm?" Frankie says she wasn't spying. Cass says that all P.I.s are spies, but Frankie just wanted to see him for herself. He asks if Frankie liked Douglas, and she says she liked him right away, and Cass says he did too. Frankie says she always pictured Christy as ending up with some surfer-biker-sculptor wild man, but Douglas is perfect for Christy. Cass agrees that Douglas does seem to be the center of Christy's universe. Frankie says she probably stayed longer than she should have, but she and Douglas got to talking about herbs, since Douglas grows his own in pots. Cass asks if Frankie and Douglas hit it off since Douglas is into herbs too, and Frankie says they really did and tells Cass that Douglas repeated his dinner invitation but she wants to run it by Christy first. Cass says it doesn't have to be a big deal, and they can just show up at Douglas and Christy's some night with Chinese takeout, but Frankie says that Christy will insist on cooking some big, decadent, French meal and she doesn't want to put Christy out, since Christy was so weird about having Frankie and Cass come to the house and meet Douglas in the first place. Cass says he thought Frankie and Christy were past that sort of thing. Frankie says she did too, but there's something going on that Frankie doesn't quite understand. Christy is so protective of Douglas, but he doesn't seem to be *that* sick, and she wonders what's going on. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass and Frankie 1990--An Unbiased, Professional Medical Opinion, and Cass's Plan

The day after the night at the convent and the cemetery, Cass takes Frankie to Bay City General and tells John that he needs an unbiased, professional medical opinion right away. Could John check Frankie out and tell her she's not suffering from a curse, Cass asks? Cass wants scientific evidence, but Frankie says you can't see a curse. John says he saw something like this when he was a corpsman in Vietnam, convinced he was cursed, in excruciating physical pain, but there was no medical basis for it, and there were no drugs or alcohol involved. It was his belief, and belief is a very powerful force. Frankie thanks John for that. When Cass starts talking about someone giving you the evil eye, Frankie calls a halt to the conference with John. John tells the duo to take care, and tells Frankie not to be afraid to get some rest, and leaves. Cass then tells Frankie again that the curse only has power because she believes it does, and he has a plan. She asks what it is, and he tells her it's not a "what," it's a "where": this calls for The Las Vegas Cure, and Cass is taking Frankie there today. When Frankie realizes Cass is serious, he tells her that the whole point is to tempt fate and prove to Frankie that the superjinx is nothing but her imagination once they come out winners. Frankie tries to say she can't leave now, but Cass reminds her that she can, because she works for her. Stacey sees them then and reminds them about Felicia's birthday lunch, which Cass had forgotten about. Frankie says it's starting already, but Cass says it's a birthday, not a curse, and after they go to Felicia's party, they're heading West, and then they head over to TOPS.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0rrZUvWTTk

Cass and Frankie at Felicia's Birthday Party, 1990

Felicia isn't exactly happy to have her birthday acknowledged, considering what happened at her birthday party in 1989 (Jason Frame crashing through the mirror and landing dead at her feet, which led to her going on trial for his murder and spending time in jail even though she was innocent, just to recap), but Cass tells her that they could never ignore or forget her birthday, and it's precisely because of what happened last year that they need to celebrate this year. Felicia sees that Cass and Frankie have arrived at the party together and comments that they're together. Cass says yes, sure they are, and Frankie says no, and they look at each other. Mitch is not pleased to see that Rachel has brought Ken Jordan to the party. Felicia and Lucas are still trying to stay out of each other's lives because of their respective relationships with Mitch and Iris, although Felicia isn't happy about this either. Lucas hires Stacey to be his lawyer for the upcoming case against The Cartel that Griffen Sanders was involved with since Lucas turned state's evidence to avoid prosecution and nail Griffen's cohorts in the The Cartel. The group celebrates with champagne, caviar, and chocolate cake, and toasts to old friendships that weather storms, new friendships, and the coming year of all of their lives. Cass and Frankie tell Felicia about the curse and the trip to Vegas, and Felicia tells Frankie that Cass is on speaking acquaintance with Lady Luck, so if anybody can beat this curse, it's Cass. Cass and Frankie say goodbye and happy birthday to Felicia and head off to Vegas.

Cass and Frankie 1990--Viva Las Vegas, Part 1

Cass and Frankie are Las Vegas bound in "the longest, biggest, safest limousine that money could rent," but Frankie is still nervous. They're driving because Frankie didn't feel like jinxing a whole planeload of people. Cass starts to get Frankie to relax by offering her some champagne. Frankie tells Cass she's never been to Las Vegas before, but from what Felicia says, Cass is the right person to go with. Cass starts talking about what they'll do in Las Vegas, but trails off to kiss Frankie. After the kiss, Frankie agrees that kissing is better than KP in the convent kitchen, but not necessarily safer. Cass tells Frankie that if she defies the curse, it will lose its power. Frankie hopes Cass is right. Cass pops the champagne and spills some all over, and it even gets in Frankie's shoe, but they're still determined to have a good time...until the car jerks twice and stops. The driver informs them that it sounds like the transmission just fell out. Uh oh...is the curse following them to Vegas?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oO3iyUqwjqo

Cass and Frankie 1990--Viva Las Vegas, Part 2

Cass and Frankie finally arrive in Las Vegas after several more mishaps, only to encounter further mishaps, but through it all, they are very much Cass and Frankie, and I just love everything about these scenes, from the banter and the bickering and the romance to the two throwbacks to the night of their first date that wasn't at Caroline Stafford's art gallery (posted elsewhere on my channel). Enjoy!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=siNu43dakfs

Cass and Frankie 1990--Viva Las Vegas, Part 3

While Frankie takes a shower, Cass thinks back to what she said at the cemetery about being cursed, and what he said in response to that: curses only work if you believe in them, and Cass doesn't. The mood changes to one of tenderness, with an underlying tension, when Frankie emerges from the bathroom to find Cass still awake, and the tenderness manifests itself and begins to relieve some of the tension when they kiss (which they so obviously want to do, which is the reason for the tension)...but the moment is broken when a shout from the hallway convinces Frankie that Grandma Almo is there.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGqOGuv58EE

Cass and Frankie 1990--Viva Las Vegas, Part 4

I LOVE absolutely everything about this scene with Cass and Frankie. One moment in particular always makes me melt and makes me grin, but really the whole thing, from the romantic to the humorous, is golden. I hope you'll agree, fellow Frame and Winthrop fanatics. Very Happy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6QiATx41AI

Cass and Frankie 1990--Viva Las Vegas, Part 5

Cass and Frankie head to the casino to try their hands at the slot machines, craps, and blackjack. Frankie still thinks she's cursed because of everything that's happened to them already; Cass still insists that Frankie is not cursed. It seems like he might be right when he wins big at the craps table, and Frankie does well with a slot machine. But when Cass loses $10,000 at craps, and then follows that up by losing twelve straight hands of blackjack in a row, he gets testy and then angry. Other gamblers start leaving tables when Frankie approaches them, and one smart-aleck blackjack dealer sends her a drink with a note asking her to come back to his table because everyone is doing too well without her there. She's about to give the dealer a piece of her mind when Cass notices she's back and his grin dies as if someone flipped a light switch. Frankie says that Cass was losing when she was at the blackjack table, and it's true that she's cursed, and then she leaves the casino.

Cass and Frankie 1990--Viva Las Vegas, Part 6 (Conclusion)

Frankie returns to their room to find Cass waiting with a romantic candlelight dinner and wine...and the news that he lost everything in the casino. But he honestly doesn't care about having lost everything in the casino, and he apologizes to Frankie for his behavior while they were gambling. He tells her that he didn't come to Vegas to win money, he came to have a good time, and he asks her if she's having a good time. She tells him she is, and they share the wine and Cass feeds Frankie appetizers by candlelight, and everything is, at last, perfect...

...but not for long, because Cass didn't know that Frankie was allergic to oysters when he ordered dinner. When Frankie has an allergy attack and learns from Cass that there were oysters in the appetizers, she starts to hyperventilate because she panics over her allergy attack. In his rush to get her a paper bag to breathe into, Cass wrenches his back. And for the grand finale of their Vegas trip, a police officer arrives as Cass is hunched over in pain and Frankie is sneezing in between breaths in and out of a paper bag to inform them that their luggage has been recovered--in a stolen truck, so he arrests them both and reads them their rights as Frankie continues alternately sneezing and hyperventilating, and Cass groans because of his back pain!

I don't remember if I kept that or not, but I'll check, Nettie. It wasn't included because the scenes I post from 1990 come from my own Cass and Frankie edits that I made while the show was still on SoapNOT. I'd tape it every day, and then separate it out on the weekends, and put all of the Cass and Frankie stuff on its own tapes (which I also eventually did with Ryan and Anne's Vicky, and Jamie and Anne's Marley), and everything else on separate tapes, and there wasn't a whole lot I didn't keep--AmanDUH skanking it up with Evan didn't make it onto any tapes I kept, and neither did Sharly and Grant, but I kept just about everything else.

Thanks for putting up those Vegas scenes. I've always loved this stage of Cass and Frankie's relationship. I'm not crazy about what comes next, in terms of how the writers resolve the "curse" s/l(the lousy actress they hired just didn't cut it as an Italian grandmom in my book). I'm not happy any time that I feel the writers have shortchanged Cass and Frankie in any way, but I can watch those Vegas scenes over and over and over again and never tire of them. Did any couple in the history of daytime have as much genuine chemistry as Frankie and Cass?....I don't think so.
