Cass and Frankie were the best. He was his best when he was with her. Those stupid writers had to mess with that and ruin the best chemistry on tv. I loved Cass and Frankie together. When he was with Cecile, it was another time and another place. With Frankie, he is better. They made a great team. I wonder if they ever keep in touch in real life. That would be nice if they did.  |

You are certainly entitled to your opinion but I have to say that, next to the classic "Alice/Steve/Rachel" triangle, I believe that the "Frankie/Cass/Kathleen" triangle is considered to be the best in Another World's 35 year history and one of the all time best triangles in soap history as well. For me it was the standout of several involving storylines that AW had going for it in 1991. And if all you see when you look at Frankie is someone who's "over the top and annoying" well then you're just not looking very hard. Mary Frances Frame probably had the biggest, warmest heart of any soap character ever. I can say this because AW truly broke my heart when they took Frankie from us for good in 1996. To this day, no other love story from any soap has ever affected me the way the story of Cass and Frankie has. They were, and are, magical and I kind of feel sorry for anyone who doesn't feel it.

Again, you are entitled to your opinion but, for my money, Beverlee McKinsey was Iris. Carmen Duncan was pretty awful by comparison and Iris became a mute character for me when she took over the role.

LOL! Wow, we fully disagree!
Tho i will say this... the deeper i get into the Frankie/Cass/Kathlee triangle the more i "get" it. The less i see Frankie as annoying and can now fully understasnd that she loved this man and expected to live the rest of her life with him then BAM this woman, Kathleen, comes back and everything she had expected was gone. Add on the prego and loss of the baby and suddenly im rooting for her.
I cant compare CD's Iris to BM's because i never seen BM in the role, but i do enjoy CD and think she is great.
And i totally understand Amanda hate, i just happen to love her.

LOL... i always really liked Amanda and i loved her the best with Evan.
Olivia... idk. Im hot and cold with her. I love her in the dean/jenna/matt/lorna story but hate her with the older group.
