Hey, everybody!
I was so frazzled last week that I posted last week's clips in the "Direct View" folder.
Here are this week's clips. In 1993, Carl returns; Donna juggles multiple crises; Dean shares his and Jenna's baby news with Frankie; Christy Carson becomes even more creepy; Felicia almost gets an insight into Christy's behavior; and Cass and Frankie tango in their living room.
In April 1990, Cass doesn't let any grass grow under his feet. Now that he and Frankie have declared their love to each other, he's ready to take the next step and pop The Question! Only Felicia is privy to the big news before it happens, but how, exactly, does Cass get through all of his nervousness and insecurity, and all of the things that go wrong, to finally ask Frankie to marry him? Watch and enjoy!
Thanks to Janie for all of the 1993 scenes.

Carl and Donna--Above All Else, I Intend to Have Ryan Happy No Matter What It Takes
Carl pays Donna a surprise visit and seeks her help in reuniting Vicky and Ryan. Donna thinks that Carl has been the one sending threats to Grant, and that Carl also wants to hurt Vicky. Carl points out that hurting Vicky would hardly serve his purposes, because above all else, Carl wants Ryan to be happy, and right now being with Vicky is what would make Ryan happy. Carl tells Donna it's time for her to set her wayward daughter straight; will she do it, or must Carl? Carl also makes a remark about Donna sounding like "Mother Cory" (Rachel) and asking if that's her role model now. Donna refuses to align herself with Carl, telling him he is the most despicable person she's ever known, and that he should be put in prison for what he's done. Carl says he didn't threaten Grant, but Donna doesn't believe him. Carl persists, telling Donna that their children need their guidance. Donna tells Carl that Vicky really wants to marry Grant. Carl retorts that even he knows that just because a child wants something, that doesn't mean it's good for them. Donna replies that Vicky is not a child anymore, and neither is Ryan, and they have decided together that they have no future as a couple and they should respect that. Carl wants Donna to set up a meeting for him and Grant, so that that "prig of a Senator" will release Victoria from this entanglement. Carl finds an invitation to Vicky and Grant's wedding and commends Donna on not announcing the location on the invitation, asking if she's afraid Ryan will come to his senses and stop the wedding. Carl gets angry when Donna tells him that Grant asked Ryan to be his best man. He anxiously asks if Ryan agreed. Donna tells Carl that Ryan refused to be Grant's best man, so Spencer is going to do it. When Carl asks Donna to call Grant and set up a meeting with Grant for him, Donna threatens to have Grant sic the FBI on Carl. When she turns around, she finds that Carl slipped out while her back was turned, and so Donna goes to her open front door and yells at Carl to get back there, because she's talking to him. But Carl doesn't come back. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Donna Hudson and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day
Donna's day quickly goes from bad to much, much worse after Carl leaves. She calls Ryan to tell him about Carl's visit and gets into an argument over the phone with him because Ryan wants to send the security team to Donna's for Vicky's bridal shower, but Donna wants the security team to go to Spencer's since Donna is convinced that's where Carl is headed. Then someone starts ringing the doorbell repeatedly. Donna yells for Bridget to get the door. Bridget comes hurrying in, and when Donna tells Bridget that she was supposed to be there hours ago, Bridget replies that she was out buying Victoria a gift for her bridal shower, which Donna is hosting later that day. Bridget answers the door, and it's the wedding planner, demanding to speak with Donna and refusing to be put off despite Bridget telling him that it's not a good time. Donna finally gives in and tells Ryan to send the security team to her apartment for Vicky's shower because Vicky probably will be safer with the team there. No sooner does she hang up the phone than the wedding planner tears into her about wanting him to set up weddings at three different locations, claiming he doesn't work that way. Donna basically tells him to just do it, she doesn't care about the cost, and since he can't be in three places at once, send trucks. The wedding planner sniffs that he is only responsible for the wedding, not the success of the marriage, and leaves. Then Marley calls, wanting to know how many people are coming to Vicky's bridal shower. Donna yells that she has no idea how many people are coming because half of them haven't bothered to respond. Bridget handles Marley's phone call and agrees with Marley that bringing several dishes and setting them up buffet-style would be lovely. Donna tries to bolt upstairs, wanting to hide from everybody, but Bridget won't let her. Finally, Matthew Cory arrives. Donna tells Matthew that he'd better have good news for her because she's about ready to jump off a bridge. Matthew tells Donna that her accountant Harry, whom they have figured out is ripping Donna off, is on his way. Donna explodes, saying she just can't handle this today, not now. Matthew convinces her that she has to do this and tells Bridget to just play along. Donna is supposed to tell Harry the crooked accountant that Roger Jackson wants to buy her apartment for his company; it's all part of a plan Matthew has come up with to get Donna's money back. Matthew goes to hide in the next room when Harry arrives. Donna ducks into the room after telling Harry that Roger Jackson wants to buy her apartment to ask Matthew what she's supposed to say next. Matthew tells her to just tell Harry that Roger wants the apartment but Donna isn't sure it's a real deal. He tells her she's been great so far, but not to grovel, because then Harry will suspect something. Donna returns to the living room, and sends Bridget off after she serves the tea. Donna then gives Harry the offer that has been drawn up, and while he reads it over, she fantasizes about killing him in various ways--poison in his tea, strangling him with her purse strap, smothering him with a throw pillow from the sofa, and smashing a vase over his head. Harry tells Donna they could save a lot if they use Roger's attorney, because every penny counts, especially in Donna's situation. Donna, as part of the act, tells Harry that she's glad he's there and she doesn't know what she would do without him and tops it off with a big smile that is obviously fake. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Donna, Bridget, and Matthew--Accountant Aftermath and Pre-Vicky's Bridal Shower
Donna sees Harry out after Harry assures her to leave everything to him so she doesn't get taken. Matthew then emerges from his hiding place and tells Donna this is going to work. Donna says nothing else in her life is working, and she's just glad it's over because she was a nervous wreck. Matthew replies that that was just step one, causing Donna to collapse on the couch groaning that she doesn't want Matthew telling her she has to do more. Bridget then brings Donna a telegram; it's from Michael, informing Donna that he's coming to Vicky's wedding. Donna isn't happy that Michael will see her life in shambles. Matthew tells Donna that she can do anything; she just has to give 100%. Halfway is not her style. Donna agrees that halfway never has been her style. Matthew asks Donna if she's ready to man the battle stations. She says yes. Matthew tells her not to fire until she sees the whites of their eyes. Donna thanks Matthew and hugs him, and then he leaves. Donna then calls out, "Bridget? Let's get this party rolling! Chop, chop!" Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Douglas Tells Christy Not to Go Overboard This Time
Christy brings Douglas a tray with a pot of tea and all the fixings. It's one of Frankie's concoctions, and Christy says it needs to brew for a while, even though, she says, she can't understand how Douglas can drink something that smells like old hay. Douglas replies that it's actually quite soothing. Christy continues that she set the timer so Douglas won't forget to take his medication, and asks if she can fix him some lunch before she leaves. Douglas tells her he wants to wait for her to come back so they can have lunch together. Douglas tells Christy not to go overboard this time after she says she has to take care of "this matter," because Douglas is right: she has been procrastinating. Douglas asks Christy to give him a kiss, then tells her to do exactly as he suggested, and everything will be copacetic, adding that he'd like a full report when she gets back. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass and Frankie Discuss Christy, and Then Christy Arrives, 1993
Frankie is helping Cass with his files at the law office. Noticing the abundance of divorce cases in the files she is organizing, Frankie asks Cass how many divorces he's averaging a month. Cass replies that he's handling too many. Frankie asks what kind of wedding the couple whose file she just put on his desk had. Cass replies that they had a huge formal wedding and ended up doing an itemized division of their wedding gifts. Frankie says she guesses a traditional wedding doesn't guarantee a happy ending, and muses that she should tell Christy that...if Christy ever bothers to speak to Frankie and Cass again. Frankie wonders if Douglas is right about Christy wanting to put the whole thing behind her. Christy used to be a rock. Cass tells Frankie that he thinks she and Christy changed places when Frankie wasn't looking. Frankie admits that she should be more patient with Christy; she would be a basket case if she were going through what Christy's going through. Cass tells Frankie that he saw a different side of Christy at the hospital, after she had just gone another round with Dr. Beckett. Frankie is not happy to hear that Beckett is still pushing Douglas to have more tests because Douglas has accepted the fact that he is terminally ill. Cass says that Christy doesn't look as death as a comforting end, and she's terrified of losing Douglas. Christy then arrives, and initially she's all good cheer and acts like nothing is wrong, but she's surprised when Frankie says that Frankie and Cass are no closer to a wedding than they were the last time Christy talked to them. Christy finally apologizes for her behavior at and melodramatic exit from TOPS, and adds that if Felicia can ever forgive Christy, maybe they can all work on the wedding together. Frankie goes to answer her phone when it rings, and while she's gone, Cass asks Christy how Christy and Douglas are doing today. Christy replies that she's much better, and Douglas is on an even keel. Douglas has these episodes, and she still doesn't handle them very well after all this time because she knows that each one weakens Douglas even more. Cass starts to apologize in case he said something to make it worse, but Christy tells him he didn't, he couldn't. Frankie returns then to get her coat and scarf and tells Cass that that was Dean on the phone, and he needs to see her right away. He wouldn't say why, just that it was an emergency. Cass says his files are about to be declared a disaster area. Frankie promises that she'll get to the files, but Christy volunteers to pitch in and help, assuring Cass that she has nothing else planned for the afternoon and Douglas is tired of her hovering anyway. Frankie and Cass thank Christy. When Frankie tells Christy that Cass is the soul of understanding until he loses a brief, Christy replies that she thinks she can hold her own since she worked under a lot of directors who were tyrants. Frankie kisses Cass, tells him she'll be back in time for their dancing lesson, and leaves to see Dean. Christy asks about the dancing lessons after Frankie leaves, and Cass tells her that he and Frankie are taking ballroom dancing lessons thanks to Christy's suggestion. Christy says that maybe she knew what was best for Cass and Frankie after all. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Felicia Visits Douglas Carson
Douglas is reading the scrapbook of Christy's career when he gets a surprise visitor: Felicia. Felicia is actually there to see Christy and, she assures Douglas, she's carrying a white flag. Douglas tells Felicia that Christy isn't there. Felicia says she would have called first, but she was afraid she'd get cold feet if she did. Felicia and Douglas talk about Christy and what happened at TOPS. Felicia thinks she got a little carried away with her own enthusiasm about Cass and Frankie's wedding and her own visions for that, and it upset Christy, who had her own ideas that were nothing at all like Felicia's and, Felicia believes, are a lot like Christy and Douglas's wedding. Felicia wishes that Christy would have somehow defended herself, telling Felicia to shut up or something, but instead Christy was very hurt and overwhelmed and left TOPS in tears, which Felicia feels terrible about. Douglas tells Felicia that Christy is very emotional but she bounces back quickly and he's sure the whole incident is forgotten. Felicia isn't sure about that because Christy hasn't called Frankie at all. Douglas says that Christy has been very excited about Cass and Frankie's wedding and she's probably embarrassed that she overreacted. Felicia says that she, Cass and Frankie were surprised at Christy's behavior. Douglas says they all have their moments, and Felicia agrees. Douglas invites Felicia to stay until Christy gets home. Felicia doesn't want to interrupt Douglas's reading, but Douglas tells her he'd love the company, and it will give him the chance to learn all about Felicia's work. Felicia doesn't think Douglas has time to read romance novels, but Douglas tells her that on occasion, he has read them. Romance has inspired some of the world's greatest literature. "That, and mystery," Felicia replies. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Dean Tells Frankie That Jenna Is Pregnant
Frankie is surprised to see an apron-clad Dean when she arrives at Dean and Jenna's apartment, with flowers and candles on the table and dinner cooking on the stove. She wonders if Dean is either breaking up with or proposing to Jenna, but Dean assures her he's not doing either and tells Frankie that what's happening is a lot bigger than marriage: Jenna's pregnant. Cass and Frankie 1993--Frankie Asks Christy to Fill in for Her at the Dancing Lesson
Christy helps Cass with his filing, and answers his phone, turning down an offer for Cass to advertise his law practice on TV by claiming that Cass is a personal friend of Judge Wapner, and telling a Mrs. Corbett that her yacht is on Cass and Frankie's top ten list of places they'd like to get married, but they're waiting to see how many members of the bridal party have a history of seasickness before they decide whether or not to have the wedding on the yacht. Then Frankie calls from Dean and Jenna's. Christy offers to put Cass on the phone, but Frankie tells Christy that she has a favor to ask of her: could Christy take Frankie's place at the ballroom dancing this afternoon? Frankie is tied up with Dean and won't be able to make it. Christy assures Frankie that she'll handle it, then after hanging up the phone, Christy tells Cass that Frankie is in a rush and Cass is supposed to imagine Christy as his bride-to-be and asks him if he can do that. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Felicia, Douglas, and Christy--Felicia Notices Something's Off
Christy returns home to check on Douglas before filling in for Frankie at the ballroom dancing lesson and finds Felicia there. Felicia apologizes for the night at TOPS, and Christy says she got carried away. Douglas suggests inviting Felicia to stay for lunch, but Christy tells Douglas she has something to take care of for Frankie. Douglas says that Felicia will stay, then. Felicia offers to call in to TOPS for lunch, and Douglas takes her up on the offer. Christy is not happy to see that Douglas was going through her scrapbook before Felicia arrived, and puts it away. Felicia notices something off when Christy and Douglas say goodbye after Christy puts her scrapbook away. Christy pauses outside the front door with a look on her face that clearly signals something is not right. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Felicia Tries to Get a Look at Christy's Scrapbook, But Doesn't Have Enough Time
While Douglas goes to get their pot of tea, Felicia tries to get a look at Christy's scrapbook, but she doesn't get past the first page before Douglas calls, asking her to help him...so back on the shelf goes the book as Felicia heads to the kitchen to help Douglas with the tea. Thanks to Janie for the scene.

Cass Takes a Dancing Lesson With a Disturbed Christy
Despite the fact that Cass tries twice to explain that Christy is not his wife or fiancee, she's just filling in for Frankie, the ballroom dancing teacher ignores him completely, and refers to Christy as Cass's bride. This feeds Christy's disturbed fantasies, which are not helped when Cass jokingly refers to her as "Mrs. Winthrop." He's just joking. Unfortunately, in Christy's increasingly disturbed mind, she fixates on this and "Mrs. Winthrop" echoes in her thoughts. After completing a tango, the ballroom dancing teacher instructs Cass and Christy to try something else, and puts on some slow music. Cass asks Christy if she's taking notes. He, of course, means for Frankie. Christy only says that every step is emblazoned in her mind. Halfway through the slow dance, Christy fakes a leg cramp and says she wasn't ready for this, bringing the lesson to a halt. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Dean and Frankie Discuss Jenna's Pregnancy
Dean shares his uncertainties, worries, and fears about Jenna's pregnancy with Frankie, and tells her that he acted like a jerk and freaked out when he found out, and he found out from Matt, of all people. He tells Frankie that he and Jenna never had normal parents, and don't know anything about kids; half the time they still feel like kids themselves. He explains that the dinner is his way of trying to make it up to Jenna, but when everything is just about set, he wonders if this is a good idea, if he should talk to Jenna about having a baby. Sometimes he feels like grabbing Jenna in his arms and running down to the Justice of the Peace, and another part of him feels like taking off and running far away. Frankie advises Dean to stick with his feelings, the good and the bad, to share them all with Jenna, and to hang on to the love that's under them. She tells Dean that she thinks he and Jenna can work this out. Frankie tells Dean that she and Cass are there if he and Jenna need them, and to call them if they do need them. Dean hates to ask Frankie to keep quiet about this since she and Cass have no secrets from each other, but Felicia doesn't know about this yet, so... Frankie assures Dean that this is Dean's secret, and she won't say a word to Cass until Dean gives her the sign. Then she hugs Dean and wishes him good luck, and he thanks her. Cass and Christy After the Dancing Lesson, 1993--A Palm Reader Predicts Coming Trouble
Cass compliments Christy on her dancing ability once they're outside after the lesson. They are then approached by a girl in her early teens asking if she can read their palms, claiming that she sees everything because, according to her grandmother, she has the gift. Cass declines, but convinces Christy to have her palm read. At first, the girl is way off base, saying that she sees that Christy has been married twice and has two children. When the girl sends Cass away (he jokes that he must be jamming the frequency), the girl asks Christy if she is pleased that the girl sent away the one Christy cares about. Christy asks how the girl knew that; did she read it in Christy's palm? The girl says no, she saw it in Christy's eyes, in the way she looked at him, but it probably isn't obvious to everyone yet. Christy says there can't be a yet because the man is a friend and he's going to marry someone else. The girl says life doesn't always do what we think it will. Interested now, Christy asks if that means he isn't going to marry this woman. The girl reads Christy's palm again and says that she sees clouds and troubles. The wedding may not turn out as they've planned. She concludes by saying it never hurts to follow your heart. Christy pays her and she hurries off as Cass returns. Cass asks Christy if the fortune teller ever said anything that was on the money. Christy replies that she hopes so. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Christy Tells Douglas She Has Met Someone
When Christy arrives home from the dancing lesson, Douglas comments on the glow about her, and then wants her to read her something by John Donne. Christy isn't really up for poetry, but Douglas insists on just reading the last part, which is about a compass, because it's a perfect metaphor for him and Christy: one part is fixed at the center, and the other part ranges free. Douglas says that it's like their love: Christy must run free, and Douglas must be her anchor, and together the circle is complete. Christy hesitates to tell Douglas what she has to tell him, but again he insists, saying he wants to know what brought her running into the house with such a glow. Christy tells Douglas that she will never leave him, and he knows how truly and deeply she loves him, but she has met someone. And she means Cass! She doesn't say that, but that's obviously who she means. Douglas thought that Christy was doing wedding errands with Frankie all afternoon. Christy lies that she was, then says it just turned out differently. Douglas asks if Christy met someone new this afternoon. Again she lies and says she went dancing, and lets Douglas believe that's how she met this man. Douglas asks if he would like the man. Christy replies that she thinks Douglas would, and adds that they always knew this could happen. Douglas reminds Christy that he's the one who brought it up in the first place. Christy tells Douglas this doesn't change anything between them. Things will be as they have always been. But when Christy leaves the room to get Douglas's tea, Douglas says aloud that it changes everything. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Frankie and Cass 1993--I'd Rather Talk Tango
Cass and Frankie being Cass and Frankie. Cass arrives home from the dancing lesson and sweeps Frankie off her feet and into a tango. When he asks about Dean's crisis, Frankie tells him it'll keep until later. They are very playful and romantic with each other, dancing, and bantering, and laughing, and Cass tickles Frankie. Cass tells Frankie that Christy had a good time, and it was a brilliant idea of Frankie's, because he thinks that it took Christy's mind off the situation with Douglas at least for a while. When Cass says that Christy's a good dancer, Frankie replies that she always has been, and she taught Frankie. Cass tells Frankie about the fortune teller, and he assures her that he didn't have his palm read without her, and she didn't miss much anyway because the fortune teller was way off base. Then he tells her the class would have been better with her there, and they tango again. Cass tells Frankie that the tango is supposed to lead up to something else, and Frankie smiles as she says she can guess what, and she and Cass lower themselves to the floor and meet in a kiss. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.

Cass and Felicia 1990--I've Decided to Ask Marry to Frankie Me!
I LOVE this scene! Cass has big news for his best friend Felicia: as he puts it, "I've decided to ask marry to Frankie me!" The ensuing conversation between the best friends is vintage Cass and Felicia. Enjoy!

Cass and Frankie 1990--I Have Something on My Mind...and Then Ken Jordan Arrives
At the law office, Frankie is working on some files in the outer office while Cass is in his private office, chewing his nails as he talks to Felicia on the phone. The nervous groom-to-be can only tell Felicia that he hasn't proposed to Frankie yet, but everything is under control. Felicia tells Cass to keep it simple. Cass hangs up the phone and then takes the file on Mac Cory that Frankie put together...and promptly drops it, scattering the papers all over the floor in his nervousness. As Cass and Frankie are on the floor picking up the papers, Cass looks at Frankie, wondering if this is the right moment to propose. But he doesn't pop the question yet, and Frankie starts talking about Rachel and Ken Jordan. While under the pinball machine, Cass looks at the woman he loves again and says, "Frankie?" When she asks him what he wants to say, he tells her it's nothing. Frankie says it's a good thing Cass isn't trying to talk a jury into anything because he doesn't seem to be connecting tonight. Cass replies that it's because he has something on his mind. Frankie asks him what it is, and then they're interrupted by a knock at the door that startles Cass so much he rears up and bumps his head on the bottom of the pinball machine. Frankie fusses over him a bit, rubbing the spot he bumped, and they get to their feet. Then Ken Jordan makes his presence known and asks if he's interrupting. Cass tells him he's not, but says it's a little late. Ken replies that the light was on and the door was open, and he'd like to speak to Cass and Frankie about Rachel. Cass asks what the real reason is that Ken is still so interested in Rachel.

Cass and Frankie Talk to Ken Jordan About Rachel, Arizona, and Mac's Will, 1990
Ken tells Cass and Frankie that he's interested in Rachel because she's his friend and he cares about her. Frankie asks why Ken why he dragged Rachel off on that dangerous dig in Arizona, and Ken replies that Rachel wanted to go. Frankie retorts that Rachel might not have wanted to go if she'd known how dangerous it was going to be. Ken says that Rachel is a strong-willed woman. Cass agrees that that is true, and he, Frankie, and Ken discuss what happened in Arizona, with Ken's major discovery of artifacts of great value in the desert, Rachel getting hurt, Ken not knowing the goons were after them, Cass and Frankie not knowing about Ken getting stung by a scorpion in the desert, and Cass and Frankie's only concern being Rachel's safety. Cass and Frankie thought that Ken had run off, but if they'd known he was still out there and he was hurt, they would have brought him home with them. Ken assures them he doesn't hold anything against anybody and asks if they've heard from Rachel. They haven't. Frankie asks Ken if he's heard from Rachel, and he says he hasn't heard from her either. That's why he came to see Cass and Frankie. Well, that and the Mackenzie Cory Scholarship Fund. Ken wants to make a donation to the fund, and his accountant told him that he has to look at Mac's will before making a donation. Ken asks Cass if Cass has a copy of Mac's last will. Cass tells Ken that all wills are a matter of public record. Frankie adds that Ken can just go down to probate court and look it up. Then Cass tells Ken that the scholarship fund wasn't provided for in the will, but was set up after Mac died, and that Iris too thought there was another will in which Mac disinherited her. Ken asks if there was another will, and Cass replies that he's satisfied that the only will Mac left is the one that went through probate court. All other documents regarding Mac are strictly confidential, and if Ken is interested in making a donation to the scholarship fund, Cass will gladly accept his check. Ken says goodbye to Cass and Frankie and leaves the law office.

Frankie and Cass 1990--You're Weird Tonight, Do You Know That, Winthrop? I'm Weird Every Night.
Cass and Frankie don't believe that Ken really just wants to make a contribution to the scholarship fund in Mac's name, but Cass says that's enough for today, so why don't they close up shop? Frankie thinks that's a great idea because she's hungry. Cass suggests they go back to her place for a little supper, but Frankie tells Cass she's beat and she doesn't want to cook. Cass tells her that's okay. Frankie says the place is a pit, but Cass still feels they should go back to Frankie's place. Frankie asks why. Cass replies the decor; he's a sucker for early bordello. "You're weird tonight, do you know that, Winthrop?" Frankie asks.
"I'm weird every night," Cass replies, and tells Frankie to get her coat. While she's getting her coat, Cass pulls the ring box out of his pants pocket, opens it, looks at the engagement ring, and tries to give himself a quick pep talk: "Come on, man, come on. Yes. Yes! Come on, be a man and do it. Do it!" Frankie returns and Cass hurriedly shoves the ring box back in his pocket. Frankie asks Cass what he was saying, and Cass says it was nothing. Seeing that Frankie has her coat, Cass is ready to go...until Frankie reminds Cass that he doesn't have his coat. Cass gets his coat, and then he and Frankie head out, with Frankie saying that Cass is definitely weird. Oh, Mary Frances, just wait until you find out WHY Cass is being so weird tonight!

Cass and Frankie 1990--Elvis Has Entered the Building
Cass's big plan to propose to Frankie is about to unfold at last, and he wants the evening to be perfect. At first it seems like everything is going wrong, but in the end, I truly do believe that Cass got his perfect evening for Frankie after all.
This scene includes the Elvis impersonator that was shown in flashbacks and referenced in various scenes in 1991 and 1992 (the Elvis impersonator was sent by mistake; Cass ordered a string trio). Enjoy!

Cass and Frankie 1990--Hey, Will You Marry Me?
I have no words. None at all. Well, except to say that this is very Cass and Frankie, and totally perfect for them, and if you love them like I do, you're going to be smiling a whole lot at this.

Could those proposal scenes be any more perfect? One of my all time favorite Cass and Frankie episodes. Thanks for posting these, Amy. I've said it before, you've got to feel sorry for anyone who doesn't feel the Cass and Frankie magic. |

Oh, ITA, t_l! I've had a rough couple of weeks here, but seeing those proposal scenes again, starting with Cass excitedly telling Felicia, "I've decided to ask marry to Frankie me!" right on up to the actual proposal and acceptance and Frankie rambling on after Cass said they had just promised to spend the rest of their lives with each other until he kissed her (which he's done twice before: outside the art gallery the night of the first date that wasn't, and in Las Vegas)...It's beautiful, magical, it's just...it's Cass and Frankie! They are so totally meant to be forever!
