Have ya'll heard, we gotta serial killer!! Ok, technially *we* don't since he's in Gaffeny SC, but since we only live 14 miles away & go there pratically everyday, I'd say *we* are definitly effected!!!!!!
He started a week ago & has killed 5 people...Young, Old, Men, Women...We knew the 1st man he killed....We didn't *know him* *know him*, but we've bought peaches from him before
It's so weird...Never thought something like that would happen here. Everybody like Freakin' Out!!! I've never seen so much Law & News Crews in my Life!! When ya go to Gaffney to eat or shop, the clerks ask ya where yer from, we say "Shelby", they say "Oh, then you know not to be here after dark"....YIKES!!!!!!

Just read on ABCNews.com that they think the guy was shot and killed during a burglary in North Carolina. Hope it's the end of a nightmare for all you folks down there. There was a guy on the World News though who said the same thing happened in Gaffney back in 1968 and that people who were around then still remember. I guess there are certain things in life that, unfortunately, we never get over. |

I am glad that they got this guy. Now you guys can relax a little. It must have been terrible living in fear like that. Hope things get better for you guys down there. |

Yeah, by the time I posted this yesterday, he was dead...But....We didn't know that cuz they didn't wanna tell anybody until they were sure. He was tryin' to break into a vacant house in Gastonia(15 miles the other way from me). A neighbor seen him when her DH was gettin' ready to go to work at 4am. The only reason they called the police was cuz she was gonna be in the house by herself. Don't think they hadda clue it was the serial killer.
This dude shudda been in jail!! The judicial system needs to be shot!!
Glad it's over!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel so bad for the victims families.
