Jake showed up just prior to heading to the police station cuz the jig was up 'tween him and Paulina. He snuck into the kitchen & needed to talk to Marley cuz he considered her his best friend (and, as I suspect, the love of his life up to that point). Made me wonder if any of Jake's other women ~ Paulina, Vicky, Molly ~ became the true love of his life after that.

I think Vic was def JakeJake's soulmate. I luv him with Paulina & Molly, but Vic was always the one. They started off together on AW & ended together. No matter how much they fussed & fight, they always came back to each other. I know all you RyRy fans will disagree, but one word sez it all...GRANT!! Geeez!! Can't call somebody yer Soulmate when ya have a kid with their brother!!

I am ALL caught up on the *hulu* epis (been watchin' 'em while craftin' or as alternative to TV at night) and yer boy is STEALING the show right now. I swear he's in every epi. Jake is so full of regret (and love) right now, it's killin' me. I can't even FF thru Samanda or Jarley right now cuz Jake is intermingling with them and I don't wanna miss a minute. There is no question that Luke is Felicia's soul mate (LD will tell ya that in any interview where JA's name comes up) and there's no doubting the LD/JA chemistry. BUT, for me anyway, I loved Felicia with Mitch. Theirs was a slow 4-year relationship that began as a friendship and developed into love. Even their break-up was a testament to the depth of their friendship. They truly loved and respected each other. In the hulu's where Luke is keeping the "search for Jenna's father" a secret from Felicia, she flat out told him that she knows very little about him since he left Gold Street. And he didn't exactly fill in the gaps. Felicia & Mitch pretty much knew everything about each other BEFORE they were married and went ahead and done it anyway.

As for Jake & Vic on Jan 10 ~ it is truly a testament to TE's acting abilities to make me totally buy into the fact that he's besties with WHOMEVER is playing Vic at the time. These two can recognize BS in each other just as well as Cass & Felicia.

The *C&F* relationship was one of my faves on Another World.
It could have been discarded as a 'Mrs.Robinson' affair,
but happily tptw saw the potential for SS&LD as acting partners.
As much as I loved them individually...they were never better

You are absolutely right ~ Luke had a hard time when Cass was leaning heavily on Felicia during one of his break-ups with Frankie. Cass was also not so understanding of Felicia's need to be with her new DH. Also, Mitch had issues with the C&F BFFL situation when it was thought that Cass was a murderer during the Rex Allingham s/l. When peeps were suspicious of RexCass, Felicia was the only one who believed he wasn't evil (he was) & when the real Cass contacted Felicia, Mitch told Adam, who hauled her fancy butt down to the police station. Once the *real* Cass surfaced, there was the business of him wanting to publish Kathleen's memoirs which included an entire chapter of the Cass/Felicia affair in every glorious detail. Ummm...Mitch found out BEFORE Felicia could tell him about it. Hehe...suddenly Mitch found his voice. I think Zane was more understanding cuz he and Cass were actually friends too.
