I found this factoid rather interesting ~ Not only do you share the same birthday (Feb 27) as Sally Spencer (MJ McKinnon) but she was also born in Decatur, Illinois! (You were born in Decatur, right?)

I always loved this gal. I remember the McKinnons because I started watching mid-80's. I must have been one of her Junior High Junkies and I thought I was alone. They were big then. I remember her singing at Cass and Kathleens wedding I believe. It was beautiful Smile

If I'm not mistaken (and I could be cuz I read this long after the show was on the air) that the "If You Think My Eyes are Beautiful" song is the Cass & Kathleen theme song and that she (K) sang it for/to Cass at some point in their relationship as Julie Osborn, like Sally Spencer, was also a singer.

Yes, that song was ruined forever for me! I mean, "If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful" has been even MORE ruined for me than "When I See You Smile" (aka the theme to Evan and AmanDUH's boinkfest and the subsequent 10 million flashbacks). I'm at the point now, three years later, where I can listen to "When I See You Smile" (I'm considering doing a video of Marshall and Lily from How I Met Your Mother to that song). But I absolutely CANNOT listen to "If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful" under any circumstances!

Yes, I was born in Decatur, and raised in Decatur, and I still live here. I had no idea anyone from the AW cast was born here though. She's right, it is the soybean capital of the world. They always advertise that. Why, I don't know. Personally, I think "the original home of the Chicago Bears" is a bigger draw than "the soybean capital of the world," and Decatur was the original home of Illinois's first professional football team, the Decatur Staleys, in...I think it was 1926-27. Then they moved to Chicago and changed their name to the Bears, and they've been there ever since.

Anyway, that's interesting. Not as cool as if I were to share a birthday with SS or ABM, but still interesting.

LOL, when I first saw this, for a second there, I thought you were talking about the '80s epis and how much I disliked Sally as played by Jennifer Runyeon, but then I thought, "But Sally's maiden name was Frame, so that can't be it!"
