I know it's been awhile more on my absence in another post.
Here's part 3:
When M.J. walks into Tops Adam walks over and says "We need to talk now."
M.J. "Not here. Let's go to the dressing room. I'm actually singing tonight. I've agreed to sing once in awhile."
They walk over to the side of the big room where the dressing room is located.
After shutting the door behind him, Adam asks "Are you pregnant?"
M.J. "Yes, about 2 months. I'm due at the end of March."
Adam thinks to himself and then says "So it would have happened right before we broke up. We weren't exactly being careful then. I suppose we should get married after all."
M.J. "No, not right now. We can barely spend 5 minutes together without screaming at each other. We have to work through a lot to even get along. No matter what happens to us we're going to be parents for the rest of our lives to this child."
Adam "You're right but I do want to be the baby's father and be a part of his or her life. We can work that out hopefully."
M.J. "I want you to be as much of a part of his or her life as you want to be. It's important this child has two parents whatever our relationship turns to be."
Adam "Cass told me you're going to be working for him. I know he'll keep you busy but also make sure you're safe. "
M.J. "And also singing at Tops once in awhile. Oh and we should probably tell my parents together so my Dad doesn't go too overboard. Mama better be there."
Adam "And I'll call my parents. What about everyone else?"
M.J. "We can decide about that once the family knows. As far as being involved I can let you know when my checkups are and I'm having an ultrasound in two weeks if you want to be there."
Adam "Let me know how things are going and if you need anything. And I'd like to be there for the ultrasound. Do we want to know if it's a boy or a girl?"
M.J. "We can decide that later."
Adam "I just realized we've had a conversation and didn't start yelling. Maybe that's a start."
Coming up. Telling Vince and the ultrasound.

Frankie makes her "appearance" soon as well. I know how I'm going to do it but not exactly how to write it.
And Jake is going to have a part of it even though he didn't return to Bay City until May in 1988 he does have a role.
I ran into another Another World fan in another group totally unrelated I belong to (they took a guess I was one when we played a game in our chat when we didn't use names and people had to guess which member of the group we were. First time we did this I called myself MJMcKinnonCory and the second time FrankieFrameWinthrop. Don't know how she would have guessed I was an AW Fan)
But on the subject at hand we were discussing the evolution of Jake from his first arrival to the end of the show. She was one lucky ducky she saw him from day 1 (watched the show from 78 til the end) and we couldn't find a more interesting character and more evolved and changing character in soap history.

Great Part 3! I am watching some 1986-87 stuff that includes M.J. & Adam stuff (before their weddin' was called off). Never saw them the first time around. How long were they on the show?
Why did Jake (TE, actually) leave the show for a couple of years? I noticed that per Eddie's site, Jakes leaves in '86 and returns in '88. That's quite a gap. WTH did ya do during his absence Wendy?

Tom Eplin and Ellen Wheeler left the show in September of 1986 about the time they married in real life.
Jake and Marley moved to California. Vicky returned on their wedding day played by the forgettable Rhonda Lewin and left in January, 1987 to be replaced by whatsherface in July of 87. Anne somethingorother right? (j/k).
Jake and Marley returned in 1988 with Marley played by Anne.

Are there Adam and M.J. youtube videos? The only one I've seen them on was in Cass and Kathleen's wedding.
If there are any I can link to some in my story so those that didn't see them the first time around can get a glimpse of them in the original story.
