~~~I was amazed along with the
judges, the audience, & most of all
Sabrina&Mark when they got the boot.
btw, I was surprised Cameron&Edyta
were under the red light too!
Carrie Ann was sittin' in at the table on
The View this morning, and
Sabrina&Mark performed their smoking
hot cha-cha live. Sabrina was actually
crying when they were being interviewed
after the dance.
Once again, the viewers at home
have turned the competition into
a popularity contest.
I think S&M deserved to be in the
final four!
So sorry to see you go Sweet Sabrina... |
I was totally rooting for her! I thought she was awesome. I have no idea what/who the Cheetah Girls are but I just thought she was amazing and sent a message that you don't have to be tall & thin to move well and be hot!
~~~I know it's getting tougher
every week now to choose,
but as much as I love Marie...
I do think she should have been
the next to go. |

I was actually going to say that myself. But she has a huge fan base that will prolly keep her in.
For a moment I wondered if Jane Seymour was certain that she was going to be voted out last night and that lead to her "food poisoning." Monday was not her best dance but I think she can still make up for it.
Barry Manilow made me cringe though. Sorry, but never have been a fan, even in his hey day. Just looks weird (IMO).

I was very shocked too when Sabrina got voted out. She is the best dancer IMO. It seems like she got voted out due to a backlash of people thinking she shouldn't have been on the show because she had an unfair advantage being a dancer. Personally I disagree with this because all the boy band stars like Drew and Joey and also Mel from the Spice Girls have dance experience. Where do you draw the line? Did Drew win because a lot of females thought he was hot and didn't care he had more dance experience than his co-stars? I feel sorry for Sabrina and feel like she is a victim.
Marie has done better than I would have thought, but I think she should go next. Hope Jane is feeling better now.

I have a therory on why Sabrina got the boot. She IS a dancer just not a ballroom dancer. So she has dance experience . I have always said I didn't think it was fair to have her on it because with the Cheeta Girl she does do alot of dancing. So maybe the audience realized that and gave her the boot because of it?
As much as I like Mell I feel the same way about her.
Granted she was great!
I like Helio! _________________

WOW!! Either that was a really good show or I just enjoyed it more cuz the DH wasn't home and I watched it in HiDef on the big screen TV usually reserved for Monday Night Football!! That M&M perfect score number was great!
I gotta say though I think Jane's days are numbered. She doesn't look comfortable out there anymore. Jenny gets most improved ~ I actually like her tonight, especially her second dance.
And how cute are Helio and Julianne? Sure did miss Sabrina!

~~~Sadly, I have to agree.
Jane's last few performances just aren't
up to the level of the others.
I'm actually glad some of these *celebs* have
had previous dance experience. I certainly
wouldn't want all Jerry Springers & Wayne Newtons!
I'm still lovin' Helio&Julianne.
Bro Derek is doing a great job with Jennie.
M&M...SMOKIN'
I really enjoyed C&E's "Boy From NYC" jive number.
Great *finish*!
Marie is entertaining, but she seems to be getting
by on her "previous stage experience" more than
her dancing ability.
ps...A, I always cut a deal for the
HD to watch this show. |
Well, I think we called that one.
I felt for Marie and the whole Osmond clan yesterday. I grew up on Donny & Marie and all the brothers. I can still remember me and my sister making up a little dance for Donny's "Puppy Love" and performing it in our room (when we weren't pretending to be one of the Partridge Family). I think my sis even had Marie's "Paper Roses" album.
I can watch Julianne all day.
I'm with you, KT. A little past dancing experience gives them a little something to work with. Otherwise, it would be like watching me out there and trust me, no one wants to see that!
~~~A, I know exactly how you feel. I really give
this guys credit for putting it out there,
especially the ones over 40 & 50.
I was very touched when I heard Marie had designed
her "look" {hair, etc.} for the BoogieWoogieBugleBoy number
from an old photo of her mom as a special gift to her dad.
I don't know the details, but I'm assuming her dad had been ill.
I didn't hear anyone say it was sudden.
We've been *there* 4x's over, and I can't imagine how
she will be able to resume the routine
by next week's show.
Maybe doing DWTS has been helping her
through a very difficult time.
Do you know why Donny was there Monday night?
I'm with you re: Julianne. I'm so glad when she gets to do a
featured dance with another pro. I'm still wishing for some
footage of J & D dancing together as kids.
As it stands now, I really feel M&M are the best *team*,
however I would love to see J&H take home the prize.
Here's to HDTV! KT |

Did you see the ad for 20/20 on Friday (10 p.m.?)? I think they are featuring J & D. I will look into it further and post what I find.
Very sad that Marie performed that song in honor of her mom & dad and then he passed away. I have not heard whether or not it was sudden. I did hear her say that someone called him to make sure he watched on Monday night.
I will see what I can *do* to get the HDTV on Mondays nights!

Marie Osmond Won't Quit 'Dancing'
Nov. 7, 2007, 10:59 AM EST
The Associated Press
LOS ANGELES -- Marie Osmond may have lost a loved one, but she's not ready to lose her place on "Dancing With the Stars."
The 48-year-old singer, who missed Tuesday's results show after the death of father George Osmond, will continue to compete on the top-rated dance competition, ABC publicist Aime Wolfe said Wednesday.
Osmond will also appear with family members — including brother Donny — on Oprah Winfrey's talk show Friday, said Don Halcombe, a publicist at Harpo, Winfrey's production company.
Osmond skipped Tuesday's live broadcast of "Dancing" to be in Utah with her family. Actress Jane Seymour, who also missed an elimination show last month after the death of her mother, was eliminated.
George Osmond, patriarch to the Osmond family's singing group, The Osmond Brothers, died Tuesday at age 90. Family spokesman Kevin Sasaki said Osmond died at his home in Provo, Utah. Because he had not been ill, he likely died from natural causes incident to his age, Sasaki said. _________________
