Ok, I'm gonna explain how *I* do it...Alot of people might do it different ways, but this is my way & the easiest way I know how...
For random pictures, I go to www.photobucket.com
If you don't have an account, all you have to do is type in what you are lookin' for in the search box, then when you find the pic that you want, click on it...Beside the picture there will be a list of codes...The *IMG* code is the one you need to post a pic here...Simply left click on the code, it will copy it for you, then come here & right click, choose *paste* then BAM, the code shows up...After you hit *Submit*, the pic will show up in yer post!
If you have pictures you want to share...simply set up a photobucket account...Then all ya have to do is Upload yer pix to yer bucket...You can set up different Sections for different pix or jes put them all in one section...When you hit *Browse*, Your pictures will come up & all ya do is click on the one ya want, then hit *Upload*...if ya have more than one, keep usin' *Browse* till you have all that you want....
If ya find a pic on a website, instead of havin' to save it to yer pix, you can choose *Web URL* at the top of the Upload box, & put the web addy there(that is if you can click on the picture & have it show up by itself on the web page)....You can also use that URL *here* instead of havin' to load it onto Photobucket....Paste the URL then highlight it, then click on the IMG box above the post box.
Here are a list of the codes you will see on Photobucket
Share...That's for email
Direct Link...That is the code you would use for yer Advatar in yer Profile
HTML...That's for postin' the pic on places like Myspace
IMG...That's the one you use *here* like I explained above
Ok, I realize that if ya have never done this, that sounds like rocket science...I've been there & rememeber it fondly! I might not have expalined it too well, so if ya have any questions, jes ask..I, or any of the others can walk you thru it step by step...it's really not that hard & once you get it, you'll laugh at how easy it is!

Gurl, you gotta type in an actual code between the IMG to get it to work!
Here it is step by step...Jes follow me!
Go to www.photobucket.com
Type Smiley into the search box
Go the the 3rd picture of a smiley(the 1st 2 are of real people...don't wanna use them)
Click on that picture
To the right of that picture in a box is a bunch of codes
Go to the last code...it sez IMG Code Forums & Bulletin Boards
Left click on it
Then come back here & right click, the click on paste
It will look like this(without the spaces...I had to add them so the code would show up)
[ IMG ] http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u243/forrestskates/smiley.gif[ / IMG ]
Ten hit submit at the bottom of the page
This is what ya get
I swear, if you will do this step by step, it will work!

I learned something new! In those 4 choices in Photobucket, I have been usin' the second one puttin' the image between the [Img][Img*] up above on the page where you compose your post but now I am goin' to use the 4th one since it puts that in for you!

I use the "Img" box at the top as I did to "Quote" your msg.
The PhotoBucket is one of the many things

It's [IMG] *the URL to any image you want* [/IMG]
all without spaces/*'s.
If you can remember that code, it becomes the easiest way to do it, rather than relying on the IMG button on here which may be tempermental sometimes.
Also, you want to be careful about taking images from other websites without first uploading them to your own photobucket account. Websites don't generally like you to that because every image that is displayed from a website takes up bandwidth (space on the website) and eventually if the pic is used in enough places they'll run out of space and the site/pic will no longer work. Also, the website may eventually break the host link and the picture will no longer show up anywhere.
For example, if you were using a direct link from my photobucket account, and I deleted the image it'd no longer show up here either.
So basically, it's best to take any image you want and upload it to your own photobucket accounts.
