the gals asked them if his GF was upset over the
extra long kiss at the end of their quick-step...Helio
quickly said everything is "fine". They showed a pic
of her...she's lovely. btw, let's face it... there isn't
a woman alive who wouldn't squirm a little
if her man had spent that much time
working out with Julianne.
I'm not too concerned for Helio...he's riding one
of the biggest *highs* of his life right now.
It will be interesting to see how he does in
the next big race. I love those cars, and truly
admire the men&women who can handle them
on the track.
Have any of you {or anyone you know} been
to one of the "road shows". I was considering
giving tix as Christmas gifts this year,
{mainly because of Sabrina}, but...
I wonder if the *show* is really a worth it

I saw an interview with JH & HC on Access Hollywood last night where JH was asked point blank about Helio (he was right next to her) and she said flat out that no, there wasn't anything going on and they (the media) said the same thing about her and Apollo last season and nothing was going on there either. Did you know that she will be coming out with a country album? Move over Carrie Underwear...er Underwood!!

What Really Happened to Mark
at the Finale

It's a dislocated left shoulder for Dancing with the Stars
pro Mark Ballas, who suffered the injury during
the show's finale last night while doing the cha-cha
with his celebrity partner — and real-life
love interest — Sabrina Bryan.
According to his father, ballroom great Corky Ballas,
Mark went in for an MRI Wednesday afternoon
to determine whether surgery is needed
to repair the damage.
"If you watch the tape," says Ballas,
"you can actually see Mark grab his left shoulder
during the dance. He actually danced
that whole number with a dislocated shoulder.
It happened right after he turned her
under his left arm."
Following his performance,
the young dance star was rushed
by ambulance to the emergency room
at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center,
where doctors manipulated his shoulder
back into place. "That was really tough,
watching him go through that," says his father.
"He'd been uncomfortable for a couple of days
and we thought he had torn a muscle."
Bryan, who was required to stay
in the studio audience for the duration
of the finale, rushed to the hospital
after the show was over.
"When Sabrina got there,
he felt much better," says Ballas' father.
"It was like an instant fix,
an early Christmas present."
The elder Ballas, who has witnessed
their blossoming relationship,
says his son had been in a world of pain.
"One of the things they have together
is the laughter factor, which is good for the soul.
I believe you heal faster when you're laughing.
And those two are always laughing."
Another source of pain was that
these two were at the hospital
when the rest of the Dancing cast and crew
were at a Hollywood nightclub
for the goodbye party.
When Sabrina told Mark that she had presents
to give to all of them, Mark said,
"I want to get dressed and come with you,"
according to his father.
So at 2 am, Ballas and Bryan went to the wrap party.
They stayed only 15 minutes
and then Ballas went home to bed.
"He's sleeping now," says his father.
Still to be determined is how long Ballas
will be off the dance floor and
whether his injury will cause him
to miss the Dancing with the Stars
37-city national tour, which kicks off Dec. 18.
Rehearsals for the tour, which include
daily eight-hour dance sessions,
began in earnest last Monday.
"Hasn't this been the wildest, craziest season?"
asks Corky Ballas. "And now,
to top it all off with Mark's injury?
Talk about drama."
I'm just thankful that Marie did not win. She was really starting to be annoying thinking the show was all about her.
I wasn't surprised that Helio broke up with his girlfriend because they didn't show her in the final shows. Also, how do you compete with Julianne even if they are not dating. Pretty sure Helio will not have problems finding another woman.
Thanks KTin for that article on Mark Ballas. Didn't notice the injury the first time I watched the dance but when you look close again you can notice him holding his arm. He sure did a good job of covering it up. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
All I wonder now is, what drama will happen next?
