What would the results have been if Mookie had
done what Alex did by Mookie voting for Alex? I know
that both (then) would have been tied at four votes each,
but who would have to leave? Would it have required a
2nd vote from everyone?
Thanks,
Chase

I remember in the past that a few things could've happened....Sometimes when there is a tie, they vote again, sometimes they go by the # of votes the 2 that are tied have had in the past, & sometimes they draw those colored rocks....Dunno how they determine which thing they are gonna do...Oh yeah, one time they had to do a challenge to determine it(remember, between Steph & Ooops can't remember the other gurls name...They had to make fire.
Probably would've voted again & Alex would've been the one that got the boot. That was a really good show!
I really hope that Alex & Mookie's attempt to make Yau Man look like he was deceivin' people falls thru. He is most special & a pleasure to watch. he seems like one of those people that you could trust with you life. Nobody on that island would've done anything any different. If ya have it(the idol), you have to keep it to yourself or it's no good. Lookey at what happened with Alex, Edguardo, Mookie & Dreams...Too many people knew! Thankfully Yau Man has a trustworthy allie in Earl!
Thanks Wendy for moving my thread to the right board. Great job!!
Thanks for answering my question.
I really like the friendship between Yauman and Earl. They both seem to be sincere and playing the game with such enthusiasm. There are so many I really like this season.
Thanks again!!
Chase (Good point from our Katie, too, about the gals.)
Yikes, ONLY 3 more nights of "Survivor" left this
season.
Those nights are
Thursday, May 3rd;
Thursday, May 10th;
and the final night on Mother's Day,
Sunday, May 13th (3 hours--including the reunion party).
It's hard to believe less than 2 weeks, it will be
history, AGAIN.
That is hard to believe Mac Daddy...Seems like only yesterday that we met the *newbies*.....
Just incase peeps haven't seen the show yet...Spoiler box timey
Spoiler:
I am so frustrated at how the others are tryin' to portray Yau Man as sneaky & coniving...Cassandra "He's playin' the game to win"...Uh, who isn't??? I think YM has been one the more honest people that I have ever seen.
Another thing...Just what exactly do they have against Boo??? They must edit all the *Talkin' to much* out cause I hardly ever see him say a word![
My picks are YM & Boo, that is *if* they can make it thru the next round!
Hi Wendy and other Survivor friends:
I enjoyed what you shared, Wendy. I am really worried about Yauman not getting to the end, because he's almost too good--and as honest as he can be with everything he's been dealt. He's really played the game to the max and very deserving to win.
Earl is another one I see as being extremely honest and playing the game to the max. Either one of them at this point would be my choice for a winner. The others all seem to be followers and usually don't take too many risks, but they are all very likable peeps at this point in the game. These are ONLY my opinions and subject to change without much notice. He he he.
It's been really exciting this season for me.
Alex really played all he could to stay in--he was sure squirming and pulling out all the stops he could find. It seemed to all come back to him in the end, tho.
Hugs,
Chase

~~~I must admit this season has turned out to be more
interesting & fun than I ever thought it would be.
I wish I had more time to watch all the X~tra stuff they have at
the "Survivor" website. I also wish instead of all
the seemingly endless *re~caps* the producer shows us,
we could get a glimpse into that "jury house".
I think there is another entire show going on there.
My *jury* is still out on Dre.
If you've read his bio on the site, you know his background.
Part of me would really love to see him take home 1st prize,
but I think he may learn more if he doesn't.
The longer they stay on the island, the more *pay* they take home~so at least he's ahead in that dept.
On his favs list, he wrote "underdogs" for fav 'sports teams'.
That's me too! I do see Dre as an *underdog* on the island, as well as in life.
I wish tptb would show us how he is maintaining those incredible muscles all this time.
Wendy, why do you think tptb have stressed this "Boo talks too much" stuff? He was my other *ud*.
In many ways Yau-Man is the ultimate *ud*. I admire the way he has played the game.
I thought it was so clever&cute when he made up a
decoy idol after he found the first turtle. If the final competitions are all
strength&stamina, he may be at a disadvantage.
Of course, he may have a whole Zen~thing goin' on and surprise everyone!
The "Race", "Survivor", & "Big Brother" are still my fav reality shows.
I love "DWTS", but for some reason I see it in a very different light.
Since it's LIVE, tptb cannot skew our perception with clever editing.
Hi Classy Gal:
I won't tell anyone if you want to use the
edit button on those two previous posts.
Just an idea--'cause, remember we aren't
restricted here by soapNUT.
Hugs,
Chase
Hello "Survivor" friends:
I have really been happy with one of the
players--he really demonstrates integrity
and so does his "hidden" alliance friend.
I lost respect for one who wanted to
move him out, but I guess greed does
that to a person when they aren't used
to others doing nice things for them.
I think the compassion in giving the
gift was more in tune and weighed
more on his getting the vehicle than
someone solely playing the game.
OK, I'm stepping down from my
soapbox, but I kept screaming at
the TV--USE THE IDOL; USE THE
IDOL!! (and then the sigh of
relief)
I did too Mac Daddy...USE THE IDOL!!!!!! So glad he opted to do that at the last minute. Dang I was gettin' worried!!
Lost a lot of respect last night too. That "gift" was so special & even though I know some of it had to do with strategy, the better part had to do with a carin' givin' soul that knew he needed it more than the rest.
I'm still havin' a hard time with this Boo thang. Just can't figure out why they want him out so badly. Sure he might be a threat in the challenges, but he has never done anything to make any of the rest of them not trust him. I guess they have their alliance & want to stick to it...but...they need to take a long hard look at some of the ones within..I know Dreamz really could use the money, but he's not been honest since day one. Did you see Edgardo, Alex & Mookie's reaction when he let loose with the "I'm an honarble Man"???...I do think he was channelin' Yau Man & Earl when he said that cause they have been the honarble ones.
I'm still rootin' for Boo, YM, & Earl(just hope he stays true to YM). Boo has a tough road ahead of him Sunday night. He had better have his Challenge winnin' shoes on!!!
Hard to believe it's about over, eh Mac Daddy??? Did ya see the commercial for the Pirate spin off from the creators of Survivor??? Wonder if it will be as equally good???
