I haven't really had the chance to set down & fully watch the 80's epi's yet, but did see our *Mac* & it did the heart some good!
Ya know, the show would've been so different if DW hadn't passed away...Like...
Paulina's *intro* would've been soooo different without Ken there tryin' to get him some Rach! |

OMG...YES Marlo, that would've been so cool! I can imagine Mac goin' head on with Carl!!
Good -vs- Evil would've ROCKED!!!!
Maybe Mac would've dove into the darkside to battle Carl...I'm tryin' to imagine Mac with Devil horns...lol!

I've seen a few Mac/Rachel moments on AOL...I didn't tune in on SoapNOT in time to see him. But, from what I've seen, all that people say about him are 100% true. What a guy.

I am with you bad guys can be fun!
I am not sure if she would have ditched Mac for Carl but then again she slepted with Mitch granted she says it was FOR Mac. I bet she would;ve done the deed for a bit with him at the very least but in the end I would like to think Rachel and Mac would always find their way back together. |

I like to think if Mac were still around that Rach would've strayed with Carl...That way we could've seen Mac's fiery temper rise & got to hear a Mac Speech about right & wrong...DUH would've been included when that speech was Fired from the moutain top too!

I have been watching the 80's epi on AOL since the day that SN dropped Another World. I love to see them however I do miss Jake so much. I can't wait to see the older epi on AOL. I just have to settle for Joey P until I can see Jake. I just love this website. Thanks for letting us know about it. |

If Mac/DW hadn't died, I don't think Rachel would have left Mac for Carl or anyone else ever even if the show was still on the air (oh how I wish!). I always wondered what the original storylines were that had to be rewritten when DW died. How long would it have taken "Daddy" to forgive Iris? Lucas had just come to Bay City and probably was always meant to break up Mitch and Felicia but there would have been no reason for Rachel to lean so heavily on Mitch so I imagine the M/F break up would have been different. Would there have been a reason to introduce Paulina? And there definitely would not have been a Ken Jordan (which would have been A-OK with me).

Oh yeah...I meant to ask what 85/86 JakeJake was like. When did he join the show and how was he introduced? Naturally I would like to see the 91 epi's but if I got to see all of the 80's, especially 80-88, I would be a happy camper!

HOT! MY boy was introduced in Feb. 85...Gurl Gurl Gurl, Skin tight white hospital uniform that is SMOKIN' HOT, a bump into Nancy, books everywhere, some talk about Babar...FF to a closet, Nancy sneaks in to *hide* cause she was borrowin' a computer, WHAM, there's my boy cause he was hidin' too! After some ladies from the hospital FINALLY leave, my boy & Nancy sneak out to get their sneaky sneak computer stuff done...while my boy is standin' guard for Nancy, he bolts! Left a purdy good impression with Nance!
Ya don't think Rach would've ever cheated on Mac??? Gurl, this is a Soap...lol!! Of course she would've! Can't nobody resist Carl, not even a gal with the GREATEST DH on earth! They would've done their lil durdy sneakin' around & Mac would've causght them, gave the best speech in the world, and forgave all like only Mac could've done!
I think Paulina would've been introduced no matter what, but the s/l's would've been so different. Ya know Mac would've accepted her as his on(even if he felt she wasn't). Course Iris would've hated that so maybe things wouldn't have been so diff....Iris would've still wanted to get some dirt on Paulina & JakeJake would've been there to help her out.
Don't think Mac would've made Iris suffer any longer than she had too...He point was CLEAR when he blasted her...OMG, remember Mac leanin' up against the front door at the Cory Mansion & slidin' down in such pain with the tears...HEART BREAKING!
Ya know Luke would've slid in there even if Rach hadn't leaned on Mitch! It sure would've been different, but Luke & Fanny were meant to be together & ain't nuttin' gonna stop that kinda force!
