You'd think he'd learned by now dat when my boy's got a thought in his purdy lil head, ya jes need to let him play it out & stand outta the way or be prepared to get hurt!!

That is a lesson Jamie never did seem to learn. It's why Rachel had to keep them from ripping each other's faces off on Jake and Paulina's 1991 wedding day, and why they got into a fistfight before Dean's concert that wasn't almost a year later.
