Keep remindin' us KT cuz every time you do I cast another vote or if I'm checkin' out some of our other posts and run across it, I vote again.
And how bittersweet is it that OTH has NO votes!! We told DopeNet puttin' that l@me @ss show in place of AW was wrong but NOOOOO, Frons and company did it anyway.
Oy ~ did someone (me) get up no the wrong side of the bed this morning?

I voted again and finally commented, KT, and here's what I wrote (my words are in italics):
I’m very disappointed in ABC for canceling Men in Trees. Here was a show with a lot of heart, a lot of warmth, a lot of grace, and a very human look at all different kinds of relationships–romantic relationships, friendships, and how a small community bands together in times of trouble and crisis. It didn’t have the “Big Brother Is Watching” element of Jericho, or the body count of Women’s Murder Club, but Men in Trees had one thing that no other show on television today does: normalcy! No gimmicks, no grandstanding, just honest human emotion–the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Marin and Jack had just moved in together. Patrick had just regained his memory…and lost Annie, although he really wanted her back (and I wanted them to get back together–the Annie that took up with Ivan the sleazy hockey player was not the Annie O’Donnell I knew and loved). Newlyweds Jane and Sam were learning new things about each other every day. Sara the former prostitute, single mom, and EMT-in-training and Pastor Eric had just gotten engaged. Ben and Theresa were trying for a baby. Chief Celia and Supervisor Dick were getting closer, Mai had forgiven Buzz for gambling away their savings and taken him back, and Jerome had returned to the classical music he had abandoned so long ago. Plus in the alternate ending, if we had gotten the third season we wanted and deserved, Marin and Jack were going to find Lynn’s baby girl (Lynn being Jack’s ex-girlfriend, though Jack wasn’t the daddy) on their doorstep…so would they have adopted her, or would Ben and Theresa have adopted her? Or even Sara and Eric? Would Patrick have won Annie back? Would Ben and Theresa have conceived? Or would Jane and Sam have conceived a baby “Plow Guy” or “Plow Girl”? Cash received a kidney from Terri–what would have happened with their friendship? And would Cash have found a woman in Elmo, since Marin was with Jack where she belonged?
This is what ABC robbed us of, and we, and the cast, crew, writers and producers of Men in Trees, deserved a lot better than that!

~~~Amy, I actually read your msg at the voting site
before I saw this. Your statement was heartfelt and
beautifully written, as always.
I cannot understand what the mouse wanted from our show.
There wasn't anything else like it on their {schlocky] schedule.
At this point, I'm hoping WarnerBros. will air all the episodes in order
on one of their stations. I don't think they will "shop it"
until they{WB} squeeze every dollar from it first.
Keep voting!!!
I saw that video this morning too and just love her house/property. It reminds me so much of our area ~ Vancouver often doubles for Seattle in movies/TV cuz it's cheaper to film there than in the US.
Too bad she has to sell her place and "go where the work is." Perhaps if she didn't have the financial burden of the divorce settlement with her ex, she could have afforded to keep the Vancouver home as a *retreat* from Tinseltown.
And I thought Anne looked great with no makeup!
~~~I'm still doing this {for *our* ACH},
every time I visit the board.
Looks like we'll never catch the ardent
Jericho fans...but I'm fine with that since
it's Alicia's show.
