If he survives after tonight then he must own the internet vote. Carrie Ann was right; the novelty has worn off. Everyone else is starting to step it up---except for the bleached blonde bimbo, she's still on my "must go" list!
Has anyone else seen Kelly Ripa's Bruno impersonation? She is so dead on; it's hilarious. Every time I see him now I imagine Kelly imitating him. I would love to see her sit in for him on an actual DWTS telecast. Too funny! |

Okay, gotta admit that I have been sort of half-tuning in this season but tonight I really paid attention to Gilles & Cheryl and I was blown away.
 
Then I searched thru YT in order to find his Argentine Tango from last week (cuz I didn't see KT's post above) ~ it was HOT HOT HOT. I know he's French but he sorta reminds me of Antonio Banderas in the first Zorro movie.
I'm in lust. Again.

I have soft spots for David Allen Grier and Ty Murray, and Melissa Rycroft and Shawn Johnson are definitely contenders, but I'm beginning to think that they should just hand that mirror ball over to Cheryl and Gilles and be done with it. They are simply amazing.....it's as if lightning has struck! |

Thought Ty was a goner for sure but his fan base must be awfully strong. Of the two, Lil' Kim was the better dancer but not one of my favorites. Nonetheless, I'm sure a lot of people were shocked by tonight's elimination. I think it's going to come down to Melissa(assuming she stays healthy) and Gilles in the final. All in all the season turned out to be a lot more interesting than I thought it would. |

Okay, I've watched this show long enough to expect the unexpected but Shawn and Mark? They were good I suppose, if you're into that whole "gymnast mystique"(my apologies but she was just too short and stocky looking, not to mention a tad immature, to pull off the grace and elegance of ballroom for me), but not in the same league as Gilles or even Melissa. My best guess is that Gilles and Melissa split the popular vote allowing Shawn to slip in and grab the trophy. I misjudged this whole season so I suppose it's better just to sit back and be entertained than to try and second-guess Bruno, Len and Carrie Ann. It is what it is....but will it be Linda Dano's turn next season(or ever for that matter)? I could totally see her being paired with Cloris Leachman's old partner, Corky, and I for one would thoroughly enjoy it! |
