Hi all, just a quick note to say thanks for all for the concern of Dolly getting a boot in the face. She was very quiet last night after all the day's activities and event's. A few sneezes last night but she seem's to be back to her normal self this morning.
Think the lesson to be learnt is ALL dog's need to be either in the holding pen or cages for their own safety and the safety of other peoples dog's when they are not taking part in an event. After all that's the reason that the pen's and cages are there. In the event of another dog getting loose in the future there would be no panic in trying to stop the dog in it's track's before it hurt's itself or another dog. |

I am so glad to hear Dolly is ok.
I too agree people need to use the pens, a lesson learned, unfortunately at Dolly's cost. |

Good to hear Dolly Black is OK.
You are right this highlights the importance of dogs being safely held whilst not participating.
The requests for dogs to be held in crates or the pens isnt for any reason other than safety-as brought to the fore here |

Poor Dolly Back glad she is OK. The day is so much more enjoyable when the dogs are safe in their crates. I couldn't come without mine. I even check before I get mine out to run that the previous dog is back on its lead. |

Poor Dolly, so pleased all turned out ok, Rob called me yesterday while we was down the field, spoke for about an hour, think he was a bit concerned people through he meant to hurt Dolly, I wasnt there but I know he wouldnt do anything like that.
Doesnt seem to matter how many times owners are told to stand in the enclosure there are always some that just dont listen! bloody signs everywhere!
Perhaps a fine system like with the dog poo and such is in order, maybe then people will listen. |
