Chat room help

Postby suemac on Sun Aug 30, 2009 7:36 pm

I just want to let everyone know that the host to the Monday and Thursday chat rooms, suemac, will be out of town again from 8/31 till who knows. Hopefully it will just be a week but when I went down to Seattle VA 7/19 for a week it took 3 1/2 so I wont't be here to host the chatroom for a week at least. :(

Join in on Tues. and Wed., IT CAN BE A HUGE HELP to many of us who are dealing with a TBI.

Hope to see you there when I get back!! :)

As some of you know Sue lives in Alaska and has to travel to the Seattle VA to get specialize care. She had been back and forth a few times in recent months trying to get a proper fitting for her leg braces and get a few other medical issues rectified.

As a USAF Veteran, Sue has been living with a TBI for over 20 years now and in the recent years she has been offering her personal insight and compassion while hosting the chat room on Monday and Thursday evenings.

Please join me in sending warm ((((((((HUGS))))))) to Sue, she is an intricate part of the AVBI family.

Cheryl
PS I got a note from her on the 13th, she is doing well and the Seattle VA has finally been able to get her a proper fitting on her braces…she also informed me that she expects to return home on Tuesday the 15th of September and will return to the chat room for Veterans night, on Thursday the 17th.

suemac is trying to deal with the death of her husband on Sept. 22, 2009 and I apologize but I haven't been in a good mental state to host the chat rooms Mon and Thurs for quite some time. Jerry jad been in terrible pain and now he is in a better place, PAIN FREE. It is amazing the things I am trying to deal with. Please accept me apology for not being there for you. I will try to be there tomorrow but I will be dealing with lawyer stuff too so we'll see. :|

We all have things on our minds, maybe being here will help me.

Sue,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Even though I did not know Jerry personally, I know he was highly regarded by many and that you put a twinkle in his eye! :) Please don't feel a need to apologize, you need to take care of you. Sending you a big hug from North Carolina!

With deep condolence,
Anna
