I know!! Isn't it strange! I'm glad I got to go to some games there. And football games at Busch Stadium. I remember the Forest Park Highlands amusement park. The roller coaster was so rickety and scary. My brother and sister liked the Bobsled, but I was too small to ride it. It is very strange for the Arena to be gone. Watching it be imploded was so sad. I had too many good times there as a child, Ice Capades and circuses, then the rock concerts as a teenager . It does suck growing older!! LOL

Busch Stadium...., baseball, football, monster trucks and a few concerts. I couldn't agree with you more!

Our daughter, son-in-law and their two boys along with a friend and her son were in St Louis over the 4th of July weekend. They went to the zoo. Our grandson who will be two next month just loved the lemas, they had to finally drag him away. I asked the oldest who is four if he saw the snakes, he says they don't have any there, I then asked him if he saw the crocodiles and alligators. He said he did, I told him that the snakes were in the same building. He insists there isn't any snakes at the St Louis Zoo. I haven't been for about 8-9 yrs. Growing up our parents took us to the zoo just about every year.
We've been back from New York for about a week now. My husband wants to take our grandson to a Cardinal game before I have to fly him home to New York after the 19 of Aug. He lived with us for 6 years so when he gets to come stay with us it's a busy time visiting other family members and his two best friends from school. Can't believe he's going to be 12 next month. Our oldest grandson is 13(he's our oldest grandchild), boy does that make me feel old!Linda Freeman Roe
