Would you guys be interested in riding an old school track if such a beast were to exist?
Just kinda for nostalgic reasons.
I thought it would be kinda neat to have one and have like an annual event/collectors show.
Have some kind of races over the weekend. Some old school/vintage bike classes and also some new school/new bike races.
The vintage classes could use old school bikes and the classes from say 1981 or somewhere around that time.
Charge around a 10 dollar fee which would include parking, 2 classes of racing including trophies and best vintage bike trophies for classes of bikes.
What do ya older riders think? _________________ And to think a doctor told me I could be in a wheel chair in as little as 4 years. |

hey Spence, how are you doing?
I never saw this message here (until just now)
I think they do this in Rockford every year and it's a pretty big event. I'm not sure about the old school tracks though. Pull out 3/4 of the jumps in any track now and you might be close. One thing about building an old school bike is that I appreciate how much better built the bikes are today. |
