I just clear coated my frame.

Sanded down the rusty/scratched areas first.

See how it turns out in an hour or so.

I am going to put a few coats down.  Make it extra shiny.

Ordered up new parts for the street bike.  I am hoping that this thing is going to come out sweet.

Here's the stuff I ordered today:

Sunday Morning 2 Fork
Demolition Black Chrome Rear Rim
Demilition Black Front Rim
Odyssey V2 Elementary Stem Black
Cane Creek IS2 Headset
Odyssey Evo 2 Brake Raw
Odyssey Path PLyte Tires
Eastern Spanish BB

Looks like it will be one more weekend on the Welham, but the new bike should be together soon!

This whole bike is pretty much going to be brand new.  I don't know why I even bought the frame from my brother, I could have just bought a new frame too, haha.

Lots of money being spent on bikes these last few days and in the next few weeks.  Can't wait until we can actually go outside and ride them.

Nick,

You should put your 3 top picks for a frame that you would ride, and put a voting link up for us to vote on.

My picks for you are...

Supercross
Redline
GT

Nick,

Check out this pic of a Psykopath. Maybe you should look into one of these.

I wouldn't want to deal with you being jealous of my having one.  Kinda like the site, cough.

Did you ever contact them about the frame? Their website is sketchy but they seem to answer email within a day or two - that's how I got my pedals.

So, I put the fork, headset, stem, bars, grips, lever, and brakes on today, along with the seat and post and clamp.  I am still waiting on some hubs! The demoltion rims are sweet. Can't wait to lace those things up.  Finally, all I have to do is decide on a set of cranks.  Can't wait to ride this thing.
