I am a bit biased on the Answer wheels, so you will hear negative opinions from others.

But I love my wheels. Compared to my profiles, these are hands down smoother and engage quicker. Plus the wheels are built like a piano string. So tight.

Are you looking at the new Answer Pro series?

My suit is so tight.  Jeff is the juggernaut b****.

Haha.

No but seriously, those wheels are so sweet.  I would definitely run them. But, Jeff would shoot me if I didn't say that.  I would just be careful as you are at the larger end of the size spectrum.

I have an extra set of Kings.  Let me know if you are interested.  They are red, used, a few years old.

I have a set of Profile hubs laced to Velocity rims. The hubs were raced on one season then I got the ANSWERS.

If you were interested in them you could pick up a different set of rims since the Velocity's are 1.5" and have them laced. I wasn't a huge fan of them, but for the price you may be. $270 for the set.

Let me know.

Well as of right now the rims are trashed anyway.  I am missing half the spokes on the front and the rear has a cracked collar I have to have replaced.

I will get you a price though.

Only reason I am willing to part with those is that I just got a new set off of RS's race bike that he sold me.  That bike is mint.  I just need to get the new frame I am going to be riding and swap most of the parts over.

Yeah, just a small allen bolt that holds the collar in place went finally.  I have been running those hubs for years without ANY maintenance.  This was my first problem, and it couldn't be any smaller.  Just the collar is held in place by that tiny allen bolt and it snapped.

Yeah. Tiny bolt that holds the collar in place snapped.  Instead of fighting to get it out, I am just going to have the part replaced.

My collar itself broke.

I threw the wheel in the shed and said F-it.

The hubs are well built and look/sound cool, but when speed is a serious issue, The kings can be slower.

Down a large hill by my old house the kings were 4 mph slower and on the track the drag is so bad the nose of my bike pitches down when I leave jumps.

Not to mention they often skipped even after being factory serviced twice.

On the other hand they are 9 maybe 10 years old.
