Not sure this goes in this forum or not.

I built a CW ZX in the early eighties, and my kids won't race it. So my question is, what should I do with it? It fit me when I was a teenager in the early eighties, but now at 6'6" tall and 100 pounds heavier I'm not so sure. I love the handle bars, and the Kashimax Aero seat, but I'm not sure I should start to part it out to a new ride.

So I should I look to sell it complete, or take the parts I love and build a new one on a larger frame?

CW ZX Pro Frame and Fork
CW Pro Bars
Shimano DX Brakes
Shimano DX Pedals
California Lite Checkered Pads
Zeronine White number Plate
One piece Sealed Cranks
Silver Power Disk
Tuff neck Stem and seat post clamp
Fluted Aluminium Seat Post
Kashimax Aero Seat

Thanks for any input that you may have.

Do you visit vintagebmx.com?

How is the chrome on there? If it's in good shape, you may be sitting on a small fortune.

Zeronine plates, Kashimax Aero (black in good shape), and chrome Arayas in good shape are pretty rare and get good money. CWs weren't as big as Hutch or some of the other biggies back in the day so if that frame and fork are in good condition, you may fetch some bucks for that as well.

Have any pics?

I agree with mdurg. Ask around first and see if there is any interest as a whole.

Hang it up in the garage to look at.

Then, build a new bike or buy a complete.
