I tried the longer frame and I am still not feeling it. I would like to purchase a stem, around 40mm reach or shorter, and/or a pair of 8" bars. Anybody got either or both of those items laying around..
Thank you

Don't know if you want a stem that short. Maybe a 45mm.
I would recommend a top load stem. I have a 50mm JW products stem in stock. I think it's around $45-50.
I also have an S&M pro race bar from my personal stock. Black. 8 x 27-28. I believe I trimmed these down an inch. But I have grips on and can't tell. $15 if you want them. There are some scratches on the bar under where the brake goes.
Let me know. _________________ Bye for now,

I saw you had bars listed back in January and figured they had been Ebayed by now. I will take the bars. I figured going from a 55 to a 50 stem would not yield any different feel, am I incorrect? 5mm seems like such a small amount of change.
Thank you
should I come to your shop? what is the best way to make the sale? |

I had a couple sets of bars. Figured I should clean out some of my parts to make room for new.
Whatever is convenient for you. Are you planning on racing anyplace before Bingo opens? If not I work Wed. evenings and Saturdays 9-1.
I went from a 53mm to a 50mm and noticed a big difference. Too much in fact. So I switched back.
You can try the FSA stubby which I believe is a 45 or 48mm. We may even have one in stock.

I am hoping to get to Bridgewater very soon, this weekend hopefully. I could just as easily come to the store on one of the aforementioned days.
I think I will try the taller bar first, take baby steps until I find the right combo..what time do you work until on Wed.? maybe I will shoot up there after work.
Thank you |
