This is going to sound cliche, IF it was 2 races in one day and the finals were not halfway out LI, I would go. As it is I would not have enough races anyway to qualify for the finals, nationals and regionals don't count.. |

I'm not chasing the state plate either, but it's not too far - about 2 hours. And I sort of like the track. I'm about 50/50 right now. |

It is a nice track, right around 3 hours for me. Again if it was 2 races in one day, I would very much consider it... |

haha we're a tourist town, there is a ton of places to stay, plus camping at the track is free
Hampton Inn
Best western
Catamount Motel
Autumn Inn
Paradise Hotel
Bennington Motor Lodge
Governers Rock Motel
Best Value Inn
Four Chimmineys Inn
Kirkside Hotel
Fife 'n Drum Motel .....
plus all of the bed and breakfast that are around, and state camp grounds _________________ C Buck |

I stayed at a little mom and pop type place on the main drag last year for the regional, I think it was relatively inexpensive and centrally located, right next to the giant church and about a 4 minute bicycle ride from the track. |
