· Quote

Just wondering what a team or potential sponsor would like to see on a racing resume? Do they want personal background info or strictly racing accomplishments? Do they care if the rider will be a good representative of the shop or brand? or is it simply who will get the most points at any given race? Is a team member/sponsored rider required to attend a certain number of races to maintain status? I know there are some team managers here and perhaps some other folks who could chime in on this as well.
Thank you for your time and I appreciate,in advance, the information. Now lets not turn this into a dissing contest, please.

Most potential sponsors will want to know age, years racing, classification, and achievements.

dont forget to include any track experience such as volunteering at your local track/ running clinics, etc. alot of teams want to know if you are personable and will represent well( on and off the track)

most teams dont want  someone who throws the bike/ helmet when things dont go his/her way.

you may want to also include any other sports you participate in such as in school ( crosstraining)

market yourself:
also include a little write up on your past accomplishments but if you arent top 3 national dont worry about it.. dont forget to include goals ( short and long term) for your racing carreer. they may want to see if you are in it for the long haul . let them know what you can bring to their team and what makes you stand out from somoene else so to speak. highlight your strengths ( leadership qualities, for example)

they want to make sure you are not "team hopping" just to get "stuff"

good luck!
