I'm hoping to have it by Christmas, cough, Jeff, cough, haha.

No, seriously I think I'll have everything I need by then, and if not I have my other bike sitting here so I can steal some parts.

Sounds like you have a nasty cold Nick.

Did you get that from riding too late last night?

Well, headset, fork, stem and bars are installed along with my seatpost and seat.  Bike is shaping up to look sick.  I'm so excited.

I'll be sure to post pictures as soon as it is completely done.

Next step is to lace up the new wheels.  Have to order some spokes to get that end of it going.

Waiting to get some spokes today.  Building the rear wheel and I have to install the brake cable, tires, etc.

Bike should be sweet.

Just wish my new cranks were going to be here on time.  I am going to have to run my old cranks until the new Profiles come in.

Just checked the UPS site, looks like they are going to be delivered tomorrow.  Must be superbusy there this time of the year.

I'll have a bit of work to do to lace them up and have the wheel on the bike in time, haha.  Otherwise, shouldn't be too much work to put the rest of the parts on.

Later,

The race xlt's have a 3 deg upsweep. Different from their standard 1 deg. It is an extremely awkward setup.

I will stick to my slam xlt's.

That's pretty much my thought. I have ridden Slams for a long time.  I tried the Joey Bradford bars last year, but I found that they were tweaked and after examining many sets, I couldn't find a straight set (Amy was along for that hunt).  So, from now on, I think I am a Slam XLT kind of guy.  I have the regular slams on my street bike with the XLTs on the race bike.
