Thats pretty funny.
Who would have thought to put a bmx racer up against a horse in a steeple chase ?
Props to RL though, that was some pretty good riding _________________ Ross Wooding

RL Osborn and Mike Buff were my heroes... until I saw the Haro team. Then it was Wilkerson who was probably one of the best all around freestylers ever. |

I still believe that Mike King was the best all around bmxer / freestyler. _________________ Bye for now,

Mike King did freestyle? He was the guy on Diamond Back right?
Then again there is Stu Thompson. Not only did he totally rule racing in the 70s and 80s, he was the first guy with photo proof of getting air out of a bowl and doing a 360 (the caption called it a helicopter, haha), jumped cars, etc.
Now out of curiousity I have to go see if there is a vid of him ruling at the grands. |

Eddie King was on Diamond Back from the beginning. I think Mike came on later.
BTW...I still have the book around here somewhere on "How to do Freestyle BMX" with Bob Haro, RL, & Mike Buff
Have no clue where it is though _________________ Clint Bonnett

I thought Eddie and Mike started out freestyling then moved into racing as well.
No wait. I have the brothers backwards. I meant Eddie is the best in my book.

I actually saw a BMX commercial the other day, forgot what channel. It was for Nike 6.0, had Nigel Sylvester (sp?) in it. |

The new Transporter movie has a 3 minute or so bike chase scene, he grabs a bike from a dude and chases a car through a marketplace and does some gnarly jumps and such.... I checked the credits to see what kind of bike and who did the riding, some french manufacturer and 2 french riders, names of either I had not heard of... |
